I’m new to building gear since I haven’t really settled on a build until now. However I noticed the HOM Knight’s amulet stats are different than the PvE Knight stats. What is going on? where are the Power,Prec,Vit.

There is no p wer/prec/vit stat in pve. Not really sure why this is in wvw, are you trying to build for wvw?

yes, is Vit that bad for WvW? I heard its good to have around 21k health?

Its not that bad, it’s that the item set simply doesn’t exist. I have no idea why the stats are different in spvp. Why does the berserker’s amulet have vitality in spvp too? It’s really quite nonsensical.

If you want to up your vit, your best bet is to sprinkle in valkyrie, soldiers, or carrion armor

highly annoying… perhaps it is to prevent from stacking specific stats, or force players trial & error their way spending boat loads of gold to balance their gear… Regardless this should be looked at again =/

Ive kinda thought this in the past, or rather I have thought it is their way of pushing you to build (for instance):

All knights gear (pow/prec/tough) and soldiers trinkets (pow/tough/vital), at least that is the way I build, one side on armor the other on trinkets assuming this is the line(s) I am looking to build.

They do the same with Shaman’s gear in sPvP. The closest thing outside of the arenas was Apothecary gear (which switched healing power with toughness as the major stat) until the new Settler’s gear came out (which as actually identical to sPvP Shaman’s).

It’s stupid. Excessively stupid.
