Guild Wars 2

I transferred from a smaller server IOJ (where the lag was noticeable, but still could do ok in wvw) to the Blackgate server to experience a top tier gaming experience and all that happened was that I was bent over and kitten from behind from LAG.
I have asked my American counterparts if Lag is an issue in wvw from where they are playing and they said, ‘only with large numbers on screen’ well here in AUSTRALIA THE LAG IS ATROCIOUS. Not being able to activate buttons when needed during any situation, being kited and killed by the enemy due to lag and not being able to be a contributing member of your team due to lag is an issue that should be addressed. A server should be in Australia and for any country that has a high population of players. Hell a server should be there for any country that has over 1’000 players as well. All in all I am looking forward to a new gaming experience and wont be back to this lag kittene once the new ps4 is out cause LAG SUCKS. It’s 2013, im running a high end machine, I have fantastic broadband but due to the game design and location of servers I am at a CONSTANT disadvantage that makes my gaming experience total kittene. Any one else have lag in WVW and is as frustrated as hell??

I’m fairly sure everyone has experienced lag at some point or another in WvW. Sometimes it gets so bad we have 6-10 second skill lag, and I’m from CD. The lag does seem much worse now than it was before, and I’ve noticed that a lot more people are crashing lately. It’s pretty crappy when you bust through the gate of your objective, only to have your commander crash out of the game.

While it is frustrating, I’m not sure what we (the players) can do about it.
