Ya a lot of folks are complaining about laag.
Yeah way too much to even play the game.
I have noticed a lot of issues with refresh rate and vertical sync, try turning them off and maybe lowering other graphic settings to low/medium and see if that helps.

Yes anet please look into the lag in SEA OCX region. All of my friends in the SEA OCX are noticing extremely high pings over the past 2 weeks. We go from our usual 200-300 to 500-600 consistently with occasional few minutes spike to 4k ping which eventually leads to a disconnect.
Please look into this because it’s completely unplayable for us SEA and OCX folks

What are you even talking about? This is not related to lag at all. Could just aswell have said: clean the swimming pool and see if that helps.

There are many different causes of lag, for client side, there can be issues related to graphics, cpu’s, and isp settings. There is a reason many people play wvw with all settings on lowest, it helps with client side lag, especially since certain settings can put more stress on your computer which can result in more lag. Lowering graphics settings makes it easier to reduce the bottleneck when your isp is trying to send data to anets servers.

Low FPS is not the same as lag.

The only times I notice it are during 3 way fights for SM. While yes they definitely need to fix it, at least it is balanced in that all 3 teams suffer equally.

SKILL LAG is KILL LAG…
It’s understandable that the lag can get pretty intense during 3 way fights in SM. Isn’t there something that can be done to fix this or are we looking at another 4-6 years of intense key pressing just to get a heal off?
