Guild Wars 2

Hi,
I just transferred to Dragonbrand yesterday(loving it so far) and I am looking for a small/medium(preferably 20-50 members), active, casual yet competitive WvW guild. I am looking to join a guild/group that fields small groups of players in WvW, that is in WvW regularly, and sets aside time on Friday reset nights nights to get into WvW.

I am not necessarily looking to join a 150+ member guild that zergs around. Looking for more of the small group experience with a few people on a regular basis to help capture some camps, join the occasional zerg to take a garry, and develop some good friendships! Looking for this guild to know what they are doing in WvW, to some degree. It doesn’t need to be elite, but not aimlessly wander.

On the other hand, when I do not want to WvW, I do not want to feel pressured into doing so. I am a PVE player at heart so I still like to get a few dungeon and fractal runs in, (whether its a pug or guild run), and since release I have been an altaholic(5 80s). I would like the guild to have a casual laid back atmosphere with no real requirements.

Duel isn’t exactly a small/medium guild (400 members, about),
But we are more of a PvX focused guild so there’s no big Duel zergs running around in WvW.
Always WvW events on Reset night,
Usually a handful of people working in wvw through the rest of the week (But almost always people in wvw)

Still do dungeon runs and fractals (This is a part where being in a large guild is advantageous because there are more opportunities to group for dungeons).

If small/medium roster size is your most important factor, we probably won’t be able to give you what you want. But we fit every other requirement you asked for.

For other suggestions, some of the guilds that transfered to DB over the last few weeks probably lost some members when they made the move and may be looking for new people as well.

Anyone else? Not too many small, wvw focused yet laidback guilds on DB :/ . Lots of big ones though.

First off, welcome to Dragonbrand.

My own guild, League of Guildcraft [LoGC], is pretty small, but we are welcoming to new members. Our main problem right now is that we only have a few active members. Seemingly everyone we recruit just drops off the face of the earth (they don’t leave the guild, they just don’t sign in). Those that are active are very active. WvW is not really our focus, but we do jump in a decent amount. We also have a “help guildies who request help” atitude, so if you ask for assistance, we will do our best to make sure you get it. We also have a mumble server and website to use for better communication and planning.

That said, I understand perfecly if you decide to go with someone else. While I wouldn’t recommend joining them (as they are larger than it appears you want), Elephant Ambush [EA] is an experienced guild that can probably help you find one that suits your needs.

My suggestion is to play guildless for a week or so. When you get into fights with others that you enjoy ask if you can join their guild. I don’t think size is as important to style. Worst case you leave and join someone else.

Also you can be in more then 1 guild so just put yourself in more then one guild and just see what one fits your play style. You never know maybe you might like a larger guild because of it’s large mix of players.
