Lack of balance- Edge of the Mists.
They spend a lot of money, resources and time in something nobody ask for. Now is a big, and useless in purpose, karma train.
The community ask for a lot of thing for wvw, like commander tag colors, unpopulated server solution… Well… EoTM was the answer. So no. no more resources and time in something useless only for an obsessive farm.

Where is the fun? There is no fight, no organization, no roaming, just follow the zerg to kill npcs… for karma, loot and leveling up. That is a pretty awful achievement for Arenanet. Is a living monument to maximum fail.
the Players ruined EotM, and because the map cap is so high it’s really easy to ktrain.
does anyone remember when the map cap was supposed to be lower?
Anet designed a great map, the people that avoid fights/defending are the reason that the ktrain exists in eotm.
how about making EotM the PPT map and WvW the overflow maps
or… make a EotM victory add 20% to the World Bonuses earned for an hour or something.
The map sucks IMO. Long runs, easy to get knocked off, tons of NPCs and somewhat difficult to navigate with a multitude of choke points. The place is a roamer/skirmisher disaster.
Ultimately they built a fine zerg map… and it gets zerged almost exclusively.

I used to love WvW… but the lag is a drag… and boring, predictable, and repetitive match-ups have pretty much destroyed it. Now I go to EotM and hope for big zerg versus zerg battles. Less lag. Better map.
In fact, the map is AMAZING… but the match-ups are as bad, if not worse, than in WvW. It is SO much fun when a pair of equal-sized zergs meet. Yes there are flag bearers (some might call them commanders) who will run… but often a cool fight ensues. Is it really so hard to guarantee equal sides? I always wonder about that Dev-Fail icon (Outnumbered). Is it difficult to get three same-size teams? Server means NOTHING here. Why not assign them to colors as they join: green, blue, red, green, blue, red, etc. (playground rules) Equal sides will support more fights because the excuses for losing will be gone. Red can run from green without shame when it’s 100 versus 20… but at 60 versus 60 only the coward will run.
Great map… suckage match-ups. Could be amazing with just a little tweak.

Everytime I enter, I’m on a team that is always outnumbered and always losing because both enemy groups faceroll over us everytime we encounter them on the map! It’s frustrating and impossible to cap anything other than re-taking the stuff they cap in ‘our area’ of the map.
Why is there no player limit on entering? For example, if Red team only has 20 players, and green has 30, then prevent green from getting more players until red has 30 and so on.
