I just noticed that Gunnar’s Hold on EU jumped 7 spots this week! Is that the largest jump in a single week for rankings so far? Has there ever been a larger one? I expect we’ll see lots of shifting of this magnitude this month, but to leap 7 spots pre-ranking reset is rather impressive.

Well, if you look at it and see them moving up 7 spots – “yeah that’s impressive”. However if you consider, that few hardcore WvW guilds joined that server week ago and they had really no competition in that tier you’d probably just say “yeah, they did fine”. Basically they gained an awful amount of points at expense of two much weaker servers, thus they went up a lot, but that doesn’t mean they’re better than other servers they passed.

Our midtiers were very close in ratings with eachother, thats why such a large jump ( and large drops from BT and AS) are possible.
In the US all tiers are very far apart in ratings.

Yea, Blacktide dropped 8 ranks at the end of last week.
