Hey Guys,

I´m thinking about transfering to another server before WvW Season 1 starts off.
The current Release Notes say:

Players will be tied to the world they are on when they first log in after the season begins. Players may transfer worlds at any time, but their final reward will be linked to the performance of their initial world.

So i have to login to the game to make that transfer but am i bound to a world when i do so? Or do the Release Notes refer to login in to WvW?

xfer to the most stacked server then xfer off when the Queues kitten you off.

if that stacked server wins gold you get the reward even if your not there.

Good question. I hope anet answers but we believe the Season doesn’t start until Friday reset.

you should be able to transfer before then and your new server be counted as your home world.

Just transfer by Thursday and your all good.

I think when you log into the game, you have to make the transfer then before you select a character and start playing.

I’m pretty sure it’s based on the first time you log in to WvW not just into the game.

That only loging into WvW counts to be locked to a world makes sense for you even have to buy the gems ingame

I was thinking about the same. Transferred to SFR yesterday to see how WvW is there and then realised I’d rather just play on AG. So, if I get my gems for transfer before leagues start, then log in when I can transfer back and then transfer before choosing a character to play.. maybe it’ll count as logging in on AG. I hope it does.

Yip if your looking for the easy reward wait until thursday night/friday morning, check the scores on millenium, proceed to join server that you know will roflstomp their league.
