I am affraid that Anet will make new achivements with numbers from old achivements. So it will be like Win League matchup – 1000 times – 5 achivements pojnts
Tie the vast majority if not all of the AP/tangible rewards to how much you play for your server, rather than what server you are on. Winning should have rewards, but it should be like icing on the cake, not the whole reason to play. Reward people for fighting hard, not for transferring to JQ.
Keep the number of servers in each league at 12. The more the T1 servers have to endure week-long PvD fests against lower servers, the faster people lose interest and de-stack and the faster the servers normalize. Some kitten bandwagoners may quit out of boredom, but good riddance to them and all the better for the long-term prospects of WvW. 6 per league is too few, people will still crowd to the top servers because they will still match each other about half the time.
Leagues have the potential to fix so many problems that have plagued WvW since the start – I can only pray Anet doesn’t screw this up.

This destacking is a huuuge misconception…….. it simply wont happen. Sure the NA population may destack and lower the chance of blowouts, but most points are scored during Oceanic/SEA/EU…. if these guilds move they will still likely face PVD. From their point of view, stay in the place you know for PVD or go to a new unfamiliar place to PVD.

This is a problem I agree. I play during SEA and I know how bad it is. The servers below us have nobody to fight against and the servers above us fill 3 maps and throw 80 people against our spawn, and this is only talking about the top 6 servers. There’s no middle ground, and you can’t blame the guilds for wanting to play with other guilds that play during their time and speak their language.
I still think there can be a better middle ground to the current situation, but players will have to take the initiative. TC has our fair share of blowout matches against T2 and below servers and those matches (especially during off-hours) are some of the most mind-numbingly stupid experiences a WvW player can have. I cannot imagine the T1 off-hour guilds can stand months of those on end, somebody has to give in.
Only 100 more achievements points for the white gloves. God im soo lazy

It will bring people into wvw atleast…. numbers being the single most important thing in wvw…. again assuming the AP is enough to get the PVE’rs in….

Rallybots only really come into play in ZvZ fights.
Karma training will only happen if Anet doesn’t put meaningful goals in the WvW League Achievements.
The hardest thing about WvW is all of the conflicting interests. Some people want less zerging, some people want more. Some people want more open field fighting, others want siege warfare. Some people care about PPT, others only care about killing the other team.
Not exactly an easy crowd to please but they have made steps in the right directions on a few fronts, it has just been a bit slower than some people have the patience for.

IMO, WvW is popular precisely because it has enough room for all these types of play.
Achievement points are going to attract achievement point hunters. Maybe some will enjoy WvW, but in the end, phantom content like achievement point hunting will not keep players in WvW — they’ll move on to the next achievement lines when these are done.
I agree with Awe, keep it at 12 servers per league and if you’re doing 4 leagues of 6 make sure you put SoS in league 1, i’m sure we can beat DB.
