What does everyone thing about the idea of ascended or legendary siege. It would get a permanent siege item with a unique look. It should add 5% more damage than superior siege or a special effect for that specific siege like passive 50% damage reduction when on the siege, stability, or using the siege’s hp as a shield. It could add an option when you are holding it in a bundle to consume a normal piece of that siege to give 5 supply(very long cd).

Everything that is availlable in wvw should be availlable to everybody.
We get Siege balancing updates because there’s a disabler but it’s not taken into account that maybe 20% of all players are actually carrying and using these disablers. As an example. Same with emergency WPs – what’s so wrong with how it has been back in the day and everybody was able to port every 3 minutes?
Same would apply here: Stuff gets balanced because something more powerful comes along but only a small percentage really have access to the powerful stuff.
I couldn’t really explain what upgrades and what stuff I mean, but I hope you guys get the idea.
I don’t think there’s really a need since siege is available without having to pay coin these days via the provisioner. Since there’s a lack of use case, why bother putting in more power creep and exclusive content into WvW? Seems very far from how it should be. Especially since it’d be putting new/non-prestigious commanders at an even bigger disadvantage.
I’d rather see a separate, account-wide siege inventory made available only in WvW, though. It’d massively cut down on wasted bag space, and such an idea could be incorporated into the squad UI to let people donate to members of a squad, I.E., commanders.
i am fine with cosmetic of legendary siege as in option to change how siege look when it drop like Winter-Day siege, Halloween siege and Guild siege.
But there should be no stat improvement just simply a skin over.
How about we make it so that the champs in ebg, if you finish the event you can ride it with your blob and knock down a wall instantly

It’d be too much of a mess. Also there is a reason siege costs coin. It sounds nice to not have to buy it but it’d hurt things in the long run. We already also have bag lag issues in wvw, this would be too complicated for sure and would crash the blueprint market and if people didn’t have to buy siege they could be more irresponsible with it and troll etc.

Doesn’t that already work? We’ve had some wild stories with the grub in the past. I think someone trapped it in Bravos.
LOLOLOL only someone from TC or YB would ask for buffed siege. While their at it just ask Anet to remove siege caps so you can have a AC for every player on the map in every tower and keep.
Yea siege does cost money but the price of siege will increase if creating a permanent version of it uses hundreds of super siege. Also the idea of it consuming basic siege to give 5 supply every 15-30m would still give normal siege value. It just is extra effects that should make player want one and give a long term goal.
