Level 80 players should get priority in Qs.
Well this is something I can understand, away with these upleveled easy kills.
Although logical it’s unruly & would be too elitist of Anet to do. This would promote hate towards people that haven’t quite hit 80 yet whether it be they’re still leveling for the first time & wanting to check all aspects of the game out or they’re leveling an alt.
Plenty of 80s killing yaks too…. Not to mention JP and repair achievements…. The achievements (some anyway) are the real problem….

Nope. I completely disagree. A level 1 has spent the same amount of money as you. I understand that you want to line jump the queue, but we are all equal here.

Completely disagree, you have probably forgotten about players who only play WvW. Do you wanna force them to do pve to lvl up? It is highly possible that those commanders that wait in line lvled up all their toons in WvW as well. Your idea wouldnt solve a thing. Try again bud.
No, because not everyone will get the chance to enter. Worst case scenario, sub 80’s can be permanently locked out. Everyone paid for this game and should be able to get out to WvWvW if they want to.

WvW is intended to be a place for anyone, even a lvl 2 rallybot.
If you don’t like queue you can transfer.
Daoc got it right with level-specific BGs, like Thidranki.

You are aware that i’ve seen level 1 toons survive where level 80 toons get trampled right?
Why? The level 1 is someone alt who actually knows how to play, while the level 80 toon was someone who didnt pay attention and doesnt know how to play their toon.
Level, gear, rank is no indication of skill.
Might as well give priority based off of alphabetical order while we’re at it.
I’d take a level 1 who follows the pin and dies by the pin, over a level 80 who runs the first instant combat starts.

If queues are that much of a problem, move to a lower server. Devonas Rest, Eredon Terrace, and Anvil rock have plenty of room to expand.

Well, I could do without posts about queues by stacked servers and posts about how someone deserves to be in WvW more than someone else but life goes on.
How is it you have a whole map queued and no one there can figure out what to do without that one commander in queue?

While we are at it, can we designate bandwidth based on server population in the area? This way when T1 servers blob past me causing skill lag it effects their bandwidth and not mine.

the problem is: ppl say that lv 1 bought the game and desrves to get into wvw
but i also bought the game and i also spent my time pve’ing to get to 80 and get good gear, do i not deserve to wvw with 80 and not rally bots?
there is nothing more frustrating when i put effort into downing enemy and yet they rally because there is uplv mindlessly running around like a chicken spamming 1
it is not elitism, it is about effectivness; i want to have fun doing wvw, i do not have it when i watch half of the group getting downed because they just left character creation screen while there are a lot of good wvw’ers sitting in queue for hour

Agreed. Is the best for the server, because WvW you can up your level but you level isn’t more important than winning the match. >_>

It can be frustrating to see lowbies on the map when it’s queued. Easiest way to avoid these players is be in a guild that likes to run tagless or don’t play large scale.
I feel like if they are new it’s not as poor as someone who has an 80 is making the choice to rely on their server or team more.
At the end of the day you all paid to play, so will never happen.

Don’t worry, Anet already saw a problem in this and since launch and until now they have hated kitten level 1s. Hated them so much that they have, and still not allowed to WvW, but instead forced to do some dumb racial story instance.

in other games you are not allowed to join max lv pvp events despite paying
in legaue (even if it is a free game) you can’t even do ranked untill you are lv 30 and have at least 15 champions

Your assumption is fundamentally wrong. WvW is not a competitive battle ground. Up levels, PvE content, and coverage wars is indicative of that. The focus of the game has always been numbers and the spread of those numbers. It has never been about fair fights. Ever. And when people try to make it about that, like GvG, ANet gets their panties in a bunch and accuses players of violating the game mode.
WvW is as casual as the rest of the game.

In that case you should take one for the team and log out from www so your server might get its commander in.

Still, I NEVER, EVER lose to an underleveled guys in any 1 on 1 situation. They die fast and don’t do much in general.
Also your stat theory is not relevent since lv2 clearly cannot use any lv60 sigils and runes (that’s a plain 250 stat difference from sigil and several hundred stats and bonuses from runes), and they have no trait to support their build at all.
(If you’re telling me trait doesn’t make any difference, please go back and L2P, I have all 8 classes lv80 and know exactly how important traits are on all classes. )
Still doesn’t change the fact that they’re useless and serve as rallybots.

If you are having a bad time in queues go to a different server. This will not go into effect.
Level 80 players should NOT get priority in queues? Next you will be suggesting that WvW ranks should get stipulate priority in queues. Opps, my bad, that suggestion has already been shot to hell….
They can’t waypoint their keep if they don’t get yaks in.
