Guild Wars 2

Hi!

My current realm is extremely dead, we barely have any commanders, most of whom are bad. This means that we always have no players and there are some guilds who refuse to let a non-guildie follow them. So there is absolutely nothing to do.

Because of this, I was wondering which server (EU only) has the friendliest and/or the most active WvW communities? Bonus points if you can point out a good PvX guild, as well!

Come to Ring of Fire. We have great community, great guilds and frinedly people.
Currently our community is hosting several events like sPvP tournament or Asuraball and I am sure we will do more events in future.

Currently Seafarer’s Rest is #1, Desolation #2 and Riverside [DE] #3. The ratings vary up and down a bit every week. The general prediction is that our server Desolation will drop a bit during July, when most people have vacations. Generally I don’t see dropping few ranks as a bad thing as it will allow more varied match ups.

Out of the top servers Desolation is the most PuG/militia friendly. Yes, we have guilds doing close raids e.g. yesterday evening 3 different guilds were doing raids on Desolation borderlands. I consider Golden Horde [GH] as one of the best WvWvW guilds in this game, but their commander is really nice and allowed some PuGs to follow him, despite it was a closed raid. I think elitism is bad for the game. When I am PuG commanding myself, I won’t be screaming “rallybots” or slitting my wrists when it takes over 3 minutes to build one normal ram. I might even make a joke:
- How can you identify a Desolation PuG Commander?
- He is the one manning the flaming ram, because others around him don’t have ram mastery

I agree with Deniara. Desolation offers very nice WvW experience, Pug raids at every time of day and night, aswell as many WvW guilds and a lot of fun in ts, while still being the biggest and most successful pve and spvp server.
A solide choice.

you should consider also SFR, we are a well oiled machine, and have a stable WvW community since the sept 2012

Just play another game – not Wildstar because its made by NCSoft too.

SFR, Deso or Gandara are good choices. But if you don’t enjoy blobs, go Gandara.
