lvl 80 Ranger
JQ
Returning to the game after being away for close to a year.
Due to work, I can only play during NA EST hours.
Every time I log on to my current server, I’m faced with an “outnumbered buff”. : (
As a result, I’m looking to join a server that has a good turnout during those hours.
I don’t care about the final PPT – I simply would like to avoid facing the “outnumbered” every time I log on – in other words, it would be nice to actually have people on the map.
Thx for any advice.

theres been lots of changes since you left
There really is not much point of moving servers these days, since you just get moved around anyway due to server linking. All you need to do is to find a WvW guild to run with and stop being a pug, and you’ll have fun regardless of the outnumbered buff or not.

You asking a person that play ranger to stop being a pug, which implies that he will join some guild that will force him to change characters… Yeah, good luck with that.
Back to the OP, you are on JQ, a server known for being carried by the SEA off-hours and weak NA presence. I would strongly advise you to move now that with the current system, one timezone alone can no longer carry a server. Now you ask me “where?”. Tbh, any NA host server that isn’t JQ/DB have a healthy NA population (guest servers are tricky since they get shuffled every 2 months). The higher you go more people you’ll find. If you want to surround yourself with people you should try TC or YB (Or even Maguuma, but that server have a peculiar attitude that most players find toxic). If you prefer not so large scale you could problably try SBI, SoS or NSP.

Actually SoS has always been carried by their night crew as well so the op should probably avoid that one.

SoS received quite a few guilds from dyingbrand and people looking for a stable T3 server (altho SoS rolled a T4 matchup where it was defeated, so I wouldn’t be sure about that).
