Good day,

I transfered to yaks bend about a year ago due to some friends. Unfortunately, t2 got boring fast with the drop in FA and SoS numbers, we won all the time. Now in T1 we got rolled for a few weeks and seems to me we have less in wvw on the hours i play.

I am currently looking for a t3-5 server with decent coverage during NA Off hours. I play most during the morning such as 9am to 2pm central time. But also enjoy NA primetime.

Any info about servers or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Forgot to mention i will be looking for a good wvw guild as well (which i assume most servers have atleast a few)and i enjoy even fights, in medium to large size. But dont like rolling in a group of 25 just to stomp groups of 10.

You should go to Crystal Desert and join Docgotgame.8206’s guild.

The balance you seek does not exist. Even when it does, it does not last. T2 when it was a GvG paradise over a year ago was probably the best I have ever seen it at least for people that wanted to fight and not PvD.

My suggestion is to sit tight until HoT hits and shakes everything up.

Unfortunately sitting tight isn’t really an option for me. My best friend just got the game and I’m now sitting on a full server he can’t join I even set alarms every night to check at 3 and 5 am.

Darkhaven is the best server I’ve been on out of the 10ish I’ve been on.

Strong fighters, great community, good coverage, etc. You should be able to find what you enjoy here.

We have a very weak SEA but that’s about the only major flaw I find with the server overall. Otherwise there isn’t much bad I can say about it.

Some of our more prevalent guilds are [MR], [MEAN], [CCS], [Sold], [Orr], [SotD], [Myth] and [OBEY]. I may be missing a few.

I will surely look into Darkhaven, SEA time was the time i was most worried about. But i strongly like the idea of transferring to a High server instead of very high simply for the case of my wallet, because I have to transfer my GF as well haha.

If you want SEA , look for Dragonbrand.

Don’t go to CD for Doc (though CD isn’t a wrong server of choice). He’s a streamer that runs map blobs of upscale and terrible players. He enjoys playing with his viewers and has his own ways which are not really enjoyable for most and reading your description, it sounds like a terrible idea.

If you go to Dragonbrand for Sea, you will bash doors with 40+ people. Does not look like it is what you want.

I think tier 3 has the best balance for off NA coverage that fill your expectations though I haven’t played in that tier off NA in a bit. Below it’s probably too unbalanced in those off NA tmz.

I feel your pain on this one. I am on TC with my other guild mates on YB. They weren’t playing the game when I moved and when they came back nobody could switch since both servers are Full so we are stuck unless we all move out of a top tier server and pay a hefty tax to do so.

SoS has a great OCX but their NA gets run over by numbers. FA has a long history of having a nice population variety but currently stuck with a strong NA server and a strong OCX server. I was on Mags for a long time and loved their roaming/open field fighting spirit but not sure if it is there anymore.

Anything below T3 is a non-starter for me and I played for 2.5 years in T3 or lower before moving up. I cannot imagine it has gotten better.

You realize that this is changing daily, right? We aren’t getting “run over” this week nearly as bad as last week…and I bet next week the picture will look different again. We’re a HIGH population server fighting against VERY HIGH and FULL servers…of course we’re going to be outnumbered. Does that stop us from showing up and holding our own when we can? No….one day people will stop being scared of what last week was like and realize they can be part of the improvement we will see next week instead :/

I was not criticizing SoS. My statement was informing the OP what he is walking into if he decides to go with SoS not what might happen. SoS is currently a strong OCX server that does a lot of PvD in the off hours and has smaller population during NA prime than TC. What will SoS be a week or month from now, nobody knows. Will TC lose guilds/players that don’t want to play in T2 making T2 NA Prime more competitive, possibly. Is SoS worth transferring to, sure same for FA, Mags, etc. Just depends on when the OP plays and what they are looking for in a server.

I wasn’t trolling and you don’t know me; Doc is a nice guy and I’m sure he’s fun to play with. However, I don’t disagree with what you’ve said having read over the OP’s second post.
