Hello all, just wanted to get an opinion on transferring servers. I mostly play WvW but I like to PvE as well. I’m currently on Darkhaven and I’m really feeling like every week we just get worse and worse in the WvW department, and that there aren’t many people running around in a PvE environment either. I’m tired of a server that 1) does not have competent commanders except for a very select few who either have transferred, or are never on, and 2) does not have people that listen to coms to stay organized. I wouldn’t say I’m a GREAT Wvw’er by any means, but I want to be more serious than this. I was thinking of going to JQ but I wanted to get other opinions on where you have fun playing WvW, and where you think it is taken seriously.

If you are an NA player i dont suggest going for Tier 1 servers. You might want to look into Tier 3 and 2.

I’m an experience militia commander in my server, SBI, and I take pride in improving the quality of play of the militia in my server. Fair warning, higher tier servers are a whole different game, so you better have a good understanding on how to survive and what class contributes the most/whats needed at the time. I do not want zerk geared guys who do not stay on tag or have an average reaction time.

We are in T3 atm, good coverage around the clock, even during NA playing hours. We also got a massive WvW community alongside an even more massive PvE community.

Come to Yaks Bend friendly server with decent wvw coverage. We could use a few more good men and women.

Since you’re an NA player, I’d have to direct you away from T1. Take a look at SoS would be my advice. They could use some more NA players.

Come join us at HoD, we have a healthy WvW community with day and night coverage, and also do PvE and world events.

A couple of ex-Darkhaven guilds have found homes in tier 3.
[Abys] plays on SBI.
[SE] plays on Yak’s Bend.
If you’re looking for action and good commanders during NA, any of the top 4 or 5 tiers should suffice, although I doubt tier 1 needs anymore people.
If you play at all during off-peak times, you may want to stick to the top 3 tiers.
Good luck in your search, playing in the top few tiers should be radically different than what you’re used to in terms of organization. =)
