Looting system.
The feeling of killing the guy who ravaged our home and enslaved our women and children is good enough for me. Dammet! who keeps posting that in LA??

Yeh but it will be more of a problem when these new WvW only abilities come out, if the progression is somewhat linked to WvW kills.
I agree that support in both control as well as boons on your allies should be should be rewarded equally to just doing damage. But granting a reward for just tagging someone is what I would think is the best solution. Based on what I have seen loot is based on the amount of damage you do to an individual enemy. With aoe damage you typically hit the damage threshold for multiple foes as opposed to a single target attack.
Yes, I would favor a system where you dont get any loot from Player Kills in WvW, but for capturing/defending objectives.

Though personally I would prefer if there were no lootbags for killing players at all (along with no repair costs but thats a different story).
Currently it feels like I miss out on most of the loot when not using an AoE or, even worse, when using a supportive build.
Is there any chance the February update might fix that?
(e.g. removal of lootbags but a chest when capturing/defending a Camp/Tower/Keep)
Seeing as how they tie your WvW rewards (gift of battle, WvW equipment) to badges then everyone should have a good means of getting them. I don’t think that farming JP for badges is the solution to the problem. The only offset would be to add badges to mission completion. The Veteran Overseers for Supply Camps drop 2 badges on death if you hit them hard enough. I would just take it one step further and let people get badges for completing supply depot or higher events. So long as you participated then you get rewarded.
