I would like to see the lords room mobs scale in power and hp based on the number of people within the towers walls. Similar to champions in PVE maps. This would improve the chances for low dps builds to tag the lord and increase the time it takes large zergs to cap a tower while not inhibiting small teams.

Well, EotM champions scale. I don’t know why WvW ones doesn’t…

Would be awesome, also they should become more powerful when you upgrade it tower/keep to tier2 and 3. Maybe change the models randomly after it being capped to add some diversity, tower and keep lords all the same now apart from SM one.

This does actually make sense. I would like to see it too, as it already exists in nearly every other aspect of the game. Why not? Lords should be difficult to kill for a large zerg. They are Champs, and they are Legendaries. The SMC Lord feels less Legendary than a camp supervisor. That shouldn’t be the case. I’ve had only 2 people backing me up at times when I’ve pushed the lord and capped it. Legendary? No. The Legendary mobs in the Silverwastes are Legendary. Three people shouldn’t be able to kill him in as short as 4 minutes — the last video of our SMC cap I posted had just that many and that’s how long it took.

Agreed, might even be nice to have an elite upgrade making all the vets into elites instead of just the level upgrade.

I like the idea of Keep/SMC Lords getting ever more powerful based on the upgrade tier of the structure, as well as further scaling according to enemy numbers.

Epic 3 hour Lord room fights with 3 way zergs would end really quickly if this is implemented. And as long as a group is parked behind the lord, no one would want to attack the tower. I would understand if this is just to scale the HP. But imo scaling damage would make the lord too OP once there is a group together with the lord.

I would understand if this is just to scale the HP. But imo scaling damage would make the lord too OP once there is a group together with the lord.

these fights happen like once every 4 match ups and while i would miss them a little. I would miss watching the lord get melted in an instant by 20 players even less.
