From what I saw from the stream on the bloodlust buff, once a server has captured 3 points and defended for 2 min they receive the bloodlust buff and they cannot lose the buff until another server has captured 3 points and then defended for 2 min as well.

I think this is terrible as it totally ruins the chance of the underdog server gaining the buff once the dominant server has received it. The way for a server to lose the buff is just too much time and they can respond and possibly hold the buff indefinitely.

This is why I think they should make that after you capture 3 points and defend for 2 min. You only keep the buff as long as you hold 3 capture points and so if you fall under that you lose the buff. This will help with lower pop servers with defending against the buff and makes it so if you want the buff you have to actively defend those capture points. and will hopefully promote smaller group play.

I agree, if you can’t hold the ruins you shouldn’t hold the buff.

Making it so you can lock the buff in is a terrible idea and not nearly as competition minded as making it a buff you can easily strip away if you are careless.

I agree. The whole point should to make any server have to constantly work for that buff. This will cause the zerg ball to spread or face losing buff caps or ppt caps.

If you’re the biggest server then logic says you should swarm cap the buff on all three BLs and then keep a small ninja team (with the full Bloodlust buff) active spoiling any attempts to capture it back.
This is too unbalanced.

  1. It needs to be far easier to spoil the buff
  2. The buff needs to be weaker or, even better, not affect combat performance at all (e.g swap it with the Outnumbered buff).
