MS Hacking Thief still at it
I know for sure He has been reported dozens if not hundreds of times. Will Anet ever bee addressing these issues? or is wardrobe content a more pressing concern ?
You would imagine it isn’t particularly hard to detect and ban such behavior especially with so many eye witness accounts.
What is particularly annoying is that RoS has a strong “graveyard” presence but has been stuck in our boarder-land defending from a flying thief hacker every night this week. I highly doubt either of the other two teams would have quite the lead they do if we didnt have this problem.
In conclusion I’m not holding my breath for any fix of this as the customer service in this game is well below adequate.
Happy gaming all, just hope you dont end up VS MS , or one of the many other servers with hackers rule the roost
I completely agree with you kiwi.It is disgusting the fact that 1 person can completely take a t3 keep without so much as hitting a wall/gate and be in the Lord room capping in seconds. While I understand a net probably gets tons of report a week, but after someone is reported that many times by so many different people shouldn’t it be looked into.It really is a shame players waste there gold/money on upgrades and siege for it not even to matter.I surely hope this is resolved as it’s moments like this that make me want to put guild wars on a shelve and forget about it.
There are a few GM around to monitor this behaviour. Though they need to catch them redhanded which hardly going to happen. Maybe we should all go out and hack anything so they see it is a problem and a violation to their game.

Don’t argue with idiots, they pull you down their level and own you with experience.
Gw2 has no intrinsic system that detects and autoban all hacks. They need to do it manually 1 by 1. It is here that the failed report system shows up. In wvw/eotm you dont even see their name if on the enemy server. This makes screenshots and video records not that effective in most cases. In instanced dungeons you will only know if you are in his party. Also the most popular hacks are speed and fly hack. It can be hard for some players to click in someone speed hacking.
T1/2 and EoTM are full of hacks.

The poor reporting system isn’t even the biggest problem. Even if you could report perfectly and instantly, they only have 6-7 devs in total who must witness the act in person for anything to be done. So pretty much, there’s no chance your report is acted upon.
the hacker is taking everthing at the moment , reports sent, reported , reported, reported!
Have his account name and a movie of him flying, wallhacking and speedhacking! Does it matter, nah.
Is it against the rules to post account names here?
Attached a picture of the lady flying away towards bay!

This is a message I got after one of my posts were deleted(In the UW hacker thread – it’s the same guy):
“Accusing any player, guild, or server of cheating, griefing, hacking, or exploiting is not allowed on the forums. If you witness any of these acts while playing, please report them using the in-game ticketing system so our Customer Support team can properly investigate the issue. The forum is not the place for such issues to be discussed. In the case of exploits, you can also send any reports of exploit activity or knowledge to Exploits@Arena.Net to ensure the development team is aware of them.”
So.. yeah I guess it’s against the rules.
It’s the same guy who was on UW for a while (have him on block list). He was reported like billion times and GMs just don’t care.
Currently in our match up and guildies told me about him capping our keeps etc.

What guild is he in? I noticed some weird thief from MS going in and out our closed tower this morning.
This game needs forum rules similar to Archage, where they encourage naming and shaming because it is part of the player driven game.
does anyone know if this guy has been dealt with today
What do you do if your BMW is not what is promised? In GW2 – a consumer product – the hackers are a fault, not listed in the product description. I’m sure, if your gameplay is ruined by hackers, you are entitled to compensation and return/refund of damaged in-game items. I hope this is done at server and guild level. Thanks.
Alternative is that we ask a law which forces Anet to implement tools to detect the hackers – a part of computer crime. The game is rated for 12+ ages – Anet should be sure that hackers cannot make harm to children. E.g., use hacked means to ruin children’s gameplay.
I have seen only “friendly” hackers who target only sieges and NPCs… but when this changes? How would I know if a thief or some uses speed or fly hack to catch me when I try to escape?
Does the license disallow an external program which records all player positions, IDs etc. for post-checking if somebody cheated? Such program would not alter the game, not the gameplay, not unbalance it because the check is done later. (I also would like to post-analyze all fights and deads just like icehockey matches are post-analyzed in detail.)
Dear Anet, hackers become more and more a discust at WvW
My m8s and me saw this match a golem flying over in the air by a hacker. The only thing that happens if you dont respond to this kind of miss behavious is that there will be more hackers and also it annoys ppl like hell.
Irritation can go only so high before you drop a game. Say it subtle…it wont make you stick longer to a game will it? Its in your own interest I think to take ppl serious.
He’s done, and so is his main account.
