And the mouth, the Word was gone on that 1/48th of a day in the year 2013 AD. Senseless and fractured the armies of Fort Aspenwood from each other four from one. One of the four itself fractured into many. One of the four itself to become the story of 1/48th of a day. The one invaded by the smug and organized armies of the Maguma. Their armies were great. There was no question to their greatness. Ungracefully swept through the one already fractured disturbing the majesty of Fort Aspenwood. They said ‘their borderlands were full. kitten to them their borderlands were full. We conquered them their borderlands were full’ that 1/48th of a day. And it was just. It was just an exercise for the following week. These wretched of one broken from four and of themselves fractured into many. They are us and we are all one and it was just. The countenance of Fort Aspenwood was restored after that 1/48th of a day. The eye was where the eye should be. The nose was where the nose should be. And it could speak! And its words were ‘Victory! Victory! It was not just!’ The fractured became one. The one a part of four became one with the four. The countenance restored. ‘Victory! Victory! It was not just!’ And to victory marched Aspenwood as one purging the Maguma from their homes. 1/48th of a day come and gone to be remembered and to be forgotten.

Our 5 had a blast in WvW tonight, didn’t realize how much more fun it is than sPvP at times! OG and TLP had some great groups out, outnumbered us in their 8 – 10 man zergs, but we handled them pretty well and pulled out victory after victory during every engagement. Couple fights on the center island got hairy at times, but we stuck together and pulled off some great 5 v 8 and 5 v 10s against you guys! Great players! Just don’t disappear so quickly mates! So many thieves you guys have, hard to keep track of where you are going or coming from!

WvW expectations:

We had a chat with Quenta yesterday and hes a pretty cool dude with a good philosophy of how to play competitively. I don’t think theres any shame in getting beat. We had alot of players in Mag BL yesterday that had never played a large organized guild group like BT, but now they are aware of getting flanked, being out of position, when to engage, when not to engage. I didn’t want to drop open field siege because I want to test our players without siege and numerical advantage. Theres still alot to teach and much to learn but glicko says otherwise I suppose.

You always want to be fighting competent players, even if you lose because they make you better players. I wish we could get a couple more days out of this matchup just to practice open field skirmishing, test out builds and team comps for busting guild groups and generally raising the standard of play on US servers. Its a crying shame that so few people seem to want this but Quenta is deffo one of them so respect.

Maybe some day you folks will drop a tier and we can play spar/play cat and mouse games again. I’m not really interested in facerolling large blobs of players that cannot play well and have no interest in doing so. You guys are welcome on our mumble any time if you want to talk game mechanics, tactics, team comp, WvW strategy. Same goes for AoN who I’m still in touch with. I need to hop on AoN’s mumble some time so we can test a few things and raise each other’s game.

Stupid criminals make stupid cops after all. I’m proud to be fighting y’all.

Ah then if I may ask why wasn’t I pulled off that cliff edge into your group? I was anticipating a mesmer void pull so I had my finger hover over smoke bomb all the time watching you.

I think the consensus on Wed when we had the ranger tailing us was that he would eventually bring the fight to us so it was ok. =) I think we killed him once but for the most part we just kinda let him tag along hoping he’d bring us a group to fight.

Going to miss FA, hopefully we face each other again sometime. Great duels vs so many players from your server, I’ve got allot respect for heap of players from FA bar one player.

DB well different story doesn’t seem to have the duelling crew or I’ve just missed it no hard feelings hopefully next week we can get some duelling happening.

I honestly don’t remember any 5 man fight on the island yesterday. Were were only there for a thin minute before rolling up to splendans. What guild are you?

I also don’t remember running more than a trio, dieing, or seeing any OG.

DB please teach your players what duelling is, when players are so far away from points and well so far away it isn’t funny, makes you wonder are they trying to keep outta WvW to have duels, you guys one worst servers outta everyone for it.

It’s not the whole server. I had a lot of fun there. I don’t know why they wouldn’t stop, I kept asking them to. 18 minute ele on ele fight was the highlight of my week. Now I have to figure out how to duel engy’s and rangers. Ouchy.

Hope you didn’t mind us sticking to a different borderland yesterday while Mag BL was being hit hard, but it sounds like it worked out for everyone in the end. We were on a mission to do more attacking than defending and to have some fun, and the newer players learned something in Mag BL. Also it was the first time that DER|P actually ran together to accomplish something other than fool around together.

Sad that I missed the meeting with Quenta, would love to talk strategy and mechanics with others. Guess you will have to fill me in Rebel!

There’s a commander of FA, he’s a ranger and the primary color he wears looks like white. His guild is something like Star Struck or something with Star in the name.

Someone please tell him I’ve been looking for him, and that I love him.

First, let me say that were I to come across you guys dueling, I certainly would not interfere. But I think it’s silly for you to complain about others who may.

You want to duel, others may want to keep you from dueling; who knows why, but that’s their prerogative. But the point is your wishes aren’t automatically superior to those who see otherwise; if you have an issue with them interrupting what you were doing, just kill them, or find a different solution.

I just talked with the guy in game, I didn’t pop into Mumble yet, but I will here soon I think. Always like to learn ideas and concepts from other people. Knowledge is power.

If you try to crash a dueling area, be sure to bring 5:1 odds, cause otherwise you will get stomped. Dueling players will gang up on you and they are not baddies. Its kinda sad how easy 3:1 odds get stomped like its not even a challenge.

Definitely had a lot of fun in this match up! Thanks for a great week, to both servers and my servermates

Thank you Maguuma and Dragonbrand for the battle, it was fun facing you guys, fighting NNK during the oceanic time was fun, you guys are pretty though i should say, goodluck to the both of you guys with Kaineng!

Farewell Maguma and Dragonbrand I think. It’s a shame the 1/48th of a day from Maguma didn’t last all week and we didn’t have as close a match as I was hoping from your earlier trouncings to get in the green spot in T3. After the first couple days it became mostly a spectator sport.

Shame on the Judas from Fort Aspenwood. Hopefully there won’t be unfriendly fire in future matches. He who turns WvW into political garbage is political garbage. He who turns WvW into fun is a great guy/guyess and is commendable.
