Many nerfs for the sake of balance have no effect on wvw. I know they said wvw isn’t meant to be balanced, but my point is, why make it more imbalanced than it needs to be? I’d assume switching the rules wvw is under wouldn’t be very difficult, although I can see it potentially being annoying depending on how they implemented it. There’s only 1 thing it would radically change and that’s confusion, but the others would help make wvw more enjoyable as well.

Confusion does 2x dmg in pve.
Most healing and dmg nerfs are only for spvp.

ya i don’t get it.

is wvw not a pvp area? do we not pvp there?

whats with the pve rules set? is there some pve dungeon or event area i don’t know about there?

seems to me the lack of balance should come from unequal gear and levels rather than class and skill design.

Many of the sPvP rules don’t make sense, and are balanced against having less gear, not being able to use consumables, among other stuff.

It just will not work in WvW, and would destroy some builds entirely.

WvW isn’t unbalanced, but sPvP is. It cracks me up how unbalanced sPvP is. There are very few viable sPvP builds/classes, yet it is supposed to be balanced. sPvP is boring because of it.

Keep the illusion of balance in sPvP, and leave WvW alone.
