One thing I find myself constantly thinking about as league comes to a close is how many guilds/people that transferred for league will stay, and what impact them staying or leaving will have on the overall health of the community. If some or all stay will we lose our old timers? How will it change our strats and what will it do to future match ups? Anyone else out there thinking hard about these things this week?

We had a mass exodus before leagues not an influx so not an issue here. The “old timers” server loyalists will stay because it is about the people you play with not the ppt or “we’re # 1”. Folks that had that priority already left.

I expect to see BG lose a lot of folks after a bit…it gets boring having little to no competition.

BG will lose ZDs most likely so things in T1 will balance. SoR has been downgraded from Implosion Warning to Implosion Watch due to TW reforming and DIE returning.

SBI is also on Implosion Watch due to them underperforming during the Season. When they get dragged into higher tier battles, people do not expect them to take the punishment well since the bulk of their forces are T5-T6 ex-pats. Their limited T3 experience consists of losing to more legit T3 foes YB and FA. The best thing they got going for them is that their rise destroyed most of the servers they could have transferred too.

if you left your server for league/season: PLEASE dont come back! unless your inbox is constantly spammed with ‘we miss you, come home’, just stay where you went, or go somewhere else.

heres an analogy: your significant other breaks up with you saying ‘i think we should see other people’… a few months later these other people turn out to be not so great and they come crawling back to you. you dont take them back, you laugh in thier face and say ‘have a nice life, see ya!’

so basically youve moved on and so have we, have a nice game :P
