With all the posts, threads, videos of hacking being totally ignored then you the WvW players of this game need to get Anets attention another way:
A global boycott of WvW.
I’m sure that all other servers not having this issue would be just as angry and concerned if it was them suffering. So I call every server to join together and boycott WvW until Anet sorts this mess out.
Maybe when nobody is playing WvW it might prompt them into action!
Unless someone can think of a better way. Doesn’t seen many people enjoying these hackers. So do something about it! This could happen to any server at anytime, so support your fellow WvW players by boycotting it until anet wake up and actually do something!
They are not being ignored.
But they are not going to blindly ban people without investigating. It really is as simple as that.
People are also massively overexaggerating the amounts of hacking going on. It is not even remotely close to as much as people want the forums to believe.
I’m sure the forums would make the situation look worse if anet allowed all the videos to remain on threads! Players are providing evidence and a lot of that evidence has been deleted. So what is your response to that?
The way you say it isn’t affecting as many people as the forums would have us think makes it sound like it’s a none issue, nothing to see here drama. But this could happen on any server, anytime. To make it sound unimportant like you do is not supporting those who are having their WvW gameplay ruined.
Support your fellow gamers, don’t make them out to be the problem!
My response to that is that people should read the rules.
Posting about hacking and/or exploits is not allowed and should be sent via a mail to exploits@arena.net instead. Spreading information about a bug/exploit/hack openly isn’t really the way to go, since that just makes people more aware (and thus more likely) to use it themselves.
I am not saying it is a none-issue. I am saying that it is not as big of an issues as you and others want to imply.
I play WvW more or less daily on a high tier server and I don’t think I have ever encountered a hacker. And yet based on the forums they are running around everywhere at all times.

Oh we’ve had them.
The best was the guy who flew from the top of the dome in North East tower, then directly into lords in Hills. But usually talking to the other server at least lets them broadcast on map — and our hackers are usually solo guys who stick strictly to flying and not other OP hacks.
The Blacktide hacker seems endemic. If our entire home map was flipped in under two minutes, making it impossible to hold onto anything, I think the level of frustration would rise pretty quickly. More so if nothing appears to be fixed rendering the game mode useless. I think it deserves some attention — and apparently has gotten some resolution in the past. However, if this guy is popping up over and over after bans, then maybe it might be in Anet’s best interest to park someone on the maps for a month to permanently IP ban the guy. Even VPNs can be identified and nulled.
Sorry but some event isn’t going to make me boycott the one game mode that I have grown to love.. Seeing as 99% of all my friends are in this game mode and I enjoy playing with everyone each and every day, I will not join in on your boycott.
This event is not much fun I will say that. Been barely any fights but when I log in and check my friends list and see people in wvw that is where I head. Even if none of my friends are online I still head there. We are trying to make the best out of the worst by still trying to do what we normally do every day. That is have fun no matter what..
Instead of roaming and killing players we had to change it up till this event is over and try to kill golems and stop the k-trainers. I’m still alive and it didn’t kill me to have to change the way I play for one week..

It’s so boring and pointless that if I’m going to do nothing but KTrain all week then I’ll do it in EotM thank you very much.
My guild ran around last night in the BLs with tons of disablers just hunting golems. We killed a surprising amount of them too, for a glorified havoc squad. That was our first night in WvW since reset.
Ops LOL guess so much event stuff in every thread, even I’m guilty of not reading much.
We used to have two on our server and everyone would mass report them every time we saw them. Took months if not longer to get them banned. They seemed to have been banned around the time when there was a dev here posting and actually taking actions. Haven’t seen him in some time though.
Sad thing is I just saw one back a few days ago on a different account name. Silly hacker used his new account name from his old character name that got banned so I know its him.

^This. I’ll be playing WvW again when the bullkitten is over but anet isn’t getting a dime out of me until something changes. I’m not expecting a WvW overhaul or anything, I just want to see some of the bugs and balance issues addressed and I want to see some actual kittening communication with the WvW community.
Wake up, go in to WvW and see how many people are in there playing this week. Most guilds cancelled all of their raids for the week, servers like FA and Maguuma are ghost towns in WvW in every map lol.. So many angry people, the only thing a lot of us are just logging in for dailies then playing other games or going outside and getting a tan lol…

This is true, CD for the most part is only taking advantage of the lack of Mag/SBI this week so we can try and cement our T3 spot and reduce the random chance of being thrown back to T4. If we hadn’t been bent over by RNG for 3 weeks I think it would be a ghost town as well.
