There used to be a forum for WvW matchups; now I can find nowhere to discuss our current match. Is it lurking around somewhere?

It got closed, ANet felt it was becoming to toxic, they are suggesting you go to http://www.gw2wvw.net/ it’s a user created site to host match up threads now. They’ll be by any moment to lock this thread and let you know.

Anet has a weird habit closing threads. shrug A problem doesn’t go away just because you lock threads.

It was a troll breeding ground. Anet disposed of it.

I would suspect the real reason was using too many man resources on one forum. So instead of increasing resources to it Anet probably decided to close them down to save money. You can t blame them…

Actually I can blame them… I think they should instead have improved their flag and reporting system and let the community moderate itself. Reddit does it perfectly and a lot of new discussions forums do that.

But that also would have required resources…so short answer it probably saved money

Cuz you know, there’s no problem with the current matchups….
