Make an official way for 2 servers to team up against a larger server. If these random match-ups continue which will result in lop-sided wins; why not give players the option to team up in such a way the other server now appear as “green friendlies”?

Could Anet make this work? Possibly.. Have some sort of a voting system inside on servers asking to team up. Perhaps some in-game option check box, which immediately sends out something like a “party request” as a vote, and both servers can agree to merge until it’s cancelled.

It’d certainly make it a lot easier to team up and give the larger server a run for their money. They could make the colored icons on towers/keeps/camps duel colored to reflect the merged servers have it.

What do people think? If these random match ups continue, would people be in favor of this? I play usually on the large dominate server, and even though most of our opponents give us good fights, in the end it is no contest due to sheer numbers. I for one would welcome it.

this would probably work well to allow the #1 and #3 servers to team up on #2, too.

it’s a good thing we no longer have free transfers — otherwise I could easily see a mega-guild like goon squad abusing this to stack 2 higher-ranked servers to grief the smallest one.
