Dear Arenanet the WvWvW is completly unplayable becouse of this the rendering issue + this teleport skill is game breaking is not fun to see a small grp wiping 30+ players becouse they are uneable to see them until they are downed , disable the skill until you fix the rendering issue as they teleport the fps drops to a level that you are uneable to move or do anything you are just sitting there and waiting till you die or this is what Arenanet wanted with the class balances to do some 1 button skills like this why not add to other classes to some 1 button god mode .

Entire servers are using this crap to asure victory no matter of what there is not a single keep or tower attack without this being abused to a level till attackers get to a level that they spent almost like 1 gold on repair bills and give up becouse of this issue please do somthing with this.

Not being able to move might be an invisible player or players skill that “immobilize” or “stun”.

Incoming zerg vs incoming zerg is fine as both sides suffer same issue of delayed rendering.

But the portal in zerg is an instant blanket invisibility for the whole zerg group. So much so that server can take minutes before rendering catches up.

As far as WvW problems are concerned, the rendering issue should take priority before everything else — as it’s completely game breaking. I never run with the zerg, so I rarely encounter the problems associated with it, but it is also obvious with stealth skills (and this is coming from a thief). I’m on Dragonbrand, and one of our bigger PvP guilds, TacSym, utilizes this strategy quite often. They’d be stupid not to, and they’re just one of many in the top tiers that are using it to their advantage. If you don’t use it, you’re playing with an inherent disadvantage.

If you need to implement low res-models that load first, or generic models that don’t include unique facial features, then do it. This is the only game I have ever seen that prioritizes showing unique character features over actually loading models in PvP in a timely fashion. If ANet isn’t capable of altering their engine to compensate for mesmer portal, or hell, thief stealth, then remove the freaking skills. Replace my cloak skills with 5 dagger storms. I don’t care, just do something. It’s not fun to beat someone knowing they can’t see you, and it’s not fun to be killed while you can’t see an enemy due to rendering. Using tab to “nearest” target does work, but it’s a bandaid solution.

Anyway, just my 2 cents. I love WvW, but the large scale fighting is completely broken barring a major revamp to rendering. Thankfully, it’s pitifully easy to solo or duo supply camps – and that’s where the enjoyable small scale PvP ensues.

MrPicklez is spot on.

I don’t care if they have to make the models look like complete garbage when they first load in, at least I’d be able to see them. They could be gray humanoid placeholders for all I care, I just want to be able to see them instead of having to rely on AoE spam or jamming my tab key.

I’m definitely thankful I have a guild that only runs small groups to run with, I’d be pulling my hair out if I had to run with the zerg and deal with this all day.

I am a mesmer and this is the first valid complaint about us ive seen yes we get 3s out of the portal then with stealth field it becomes 8 seconds. it indeed is game breaking
