If they can take your hp down that quickly, you can take theirs down just as quick. Full glkittenter mesmer is so squishy, a light summer breeze will kill them.

Create Thief, use level 80 boost – unequip Rangers asc gear, equip on thief, run full traps, add trapper runes, follow mesmers and begin the game. Reformed rangers are the only ones that can end this madness

Yeah, nerf power shatter mesmer because their one trick pony burst is too strong and my 90% uptime on evades, blocks and invuln leaves me open to the possibility of losing.
Roamers in WvW mostly use bursting builds because they want to sneak up on you, burst you down, and move to the next person. You just need to work on panning your camera around and be ready for the burst. Most people that miss the first burst can’t do much else for about 5 seconds and will always be squishy.

If you play a ranger, that is your problem. Mesmer isn’t even very strong right now lol.

You have a passive trait called protective ward. If you have a reflex arc longer than 2 seconds, then plz take that trait.
Tbh I think the most fair aspect of the mesmer is the damage output it has.
Low-cost durability and stealth access, passive CC reflection, and the defensive boon options from PU that most people run is more or less the issue when it comes down to trying to counter-burst; it doesn’t work to oppose a burst mesmer via burst.
This is more or less the result of a set of issues caused by poor design decisions with how traits interact with shatters and their respective damage independence from builds, as well as the overall poor options the mesmer has for defenses without playing into what are relatively unfun mechanics for everyone involved.

I think they should buff power mesmers and nerf condi mesmers.
If you got bursted down then the mesmer was a glassy mesmer or you have full zerk gear or something and don’t evade shattered clones or stay still when being hit with focus phantasms.

Mesmer can be bursted. However against any other build its ridiculous to fight.
