Hello, I am having a slight issue; I completed the Garnet Sanctum jumping puzzle, have both the top and bottom half keys for the chest, but it will not open. I have not opened the chest for the past few days (I did it earlier last week and it worked fine). Is anyone else facing this problem?

I had one open for me without a key set. Is there some truth to the tale that you can open the chests even without a key if it had just been opened before? Anyway, didn’t count for the achievement and now I had to wait 24hrs for chest reset, so sucks to be me.

I had 1 piece of the key. It opened for me, but I did not get the achievement.

The JP success triggers if you open the door while having two keys and is awarded when you open the chest.

If you stepped throw the gate when another char opens the gate, you won’t get the achiev. It always has been this way for the JP to be counted (the current achiev is not different).

The chest can be opened by anyone passing the gate (e.g. someone else opened it). But for the achieve you have to open it yourself while having the two parts of the key.

As it is a daily thing you have to do it tommorow again. You still can get the keys, but open the door after the nightly reset again.

The same thing has happened to me. First time doing this JP and I’ve got both key parts then opened the vault.

When I’m pressing ‘F’ and on the ‘Unlock Chest [F]’ and nothing is happening.
Very disappointing.

A guildmate of mine has the same problem. We did it recently and she also could not open it (we have no idea why). She already had that problem a few months ago when we previously did it.
Bug reported it but no idea if they have any idea what is causing it…

You have to make sure you have the two halfs from the same map, otherwise it won’t work. If you have a upper-half from the red BL and a bottom-half from the Blue BL you can’t open it.
