Apart the faction / skill points ones, exactly why there are mobs in WvW?
They hinder fights and movement and can be tagged for downed “auto” resurrect purposes.
Only real meaning of em is giving xp (which shouldn’t really be prime objective of WvW) and an easy way to power up Sigils (which i find it unbalancing).
Can we just get rid of em please?
Zergs need things to kill while they are running around the map. It keeps thier bloodlust elevated.
Daily kill variety for people who are Only into WvW and to give teh sense the world is alive, is my guess.
They have to have at least some tactical utility by kiting them into enemy groups as well, don’t they? The zerg mentality kinda kills this, but if you can draw them onto for example a lightly guarded Dolyak then they should have value as a distraction.
But overall I imagine it’s just to make things more interesting.
How about for “defenders” to have something to do, while they patrol & wait for enemies? With MF buff on fortification, it´s quite a nice farming spot.

running around the maps only to get hit by some weak kitten monster that couldn’t kill me if its life depended on it while I get slowed down for like a minute is the dumbest kittening thing in this game.
Tbh if you are against weak teams, I love to farm some mobs, that way I keep my money up by loot for repairs. Without events, no reward, without reward no fun, and no repair funding.
