More support for WvW
Why should they? if they have their own dream of how their product should be, why should a mob change it?
Money? give me a break. If they did break into the esport market money would come even more than now.
I love wvw more than spvp but be realistic.
Eh, they should just make separate skills for sPVP and everything else asap. Then you can tweak the numbers of skills in sPvP daily for all I care based on sPVP combat which has a bit different dynamic than WvW and PvE. And something that is OP in sPVP can be crap in PvE (oh, you can perma CC a mob…good for you man /care vs perma CC in PvP = BAD ).
So idk, potential for serious sPvP/tPvP is there but they need to get to the point, where they make small small changes and do it fast based on feedback. (Nerfing skills by more than 5-10% of their effect at a time can be a big change and atm they’re still at a phase where they’re doing exactly that, like idk from 10sec to 3 sec (lol big change)). Oh, and they have to fix ALL the bugs from all the classes…which I can’t see them doing any time soon if they keep the current pace (I’d assume by the time Santa comes majority should be fixed) which make some classes broken in some specs or at least not working at their 100% capacity. And balancing classes based on broken skills…yeah…

I agree with you, Zid, WvW is a much bigger draw. And Reavan, just because they want to turn sPvP into an esport, doesn’t mean they should neglect or delay fixes for serious issues like exploits or this rendering problem, or for that matter, PVE bugs like bugged skill points. It makes the game as a whole look shoddy and it makes them look unreliable, and that’s the last image they need to project.

Just where did you get that information about what the overall size of the teams are and what all their experience together is? You can’t just base it on some well known devs posting in forums, without their team they can’t accomplish anything and there’s always very experienced top quality devs in any game development team that are not posting publicly and only mentioned by name in the credits.
