Two big things I want for Mortars.

1. Responsiveness: I want Mortars to be as responsive as Trebs. Let them turn while shots are reloading. Also, make the shots when switching ammo as fluid as Trebs. Currently if you switch ammo and fire immediately there is like a 2 second delay. This is not the case for trebs.

2. Masteries: I want burn, I want AOE size, I want defense while on it. Give me juicyness!!

As someone who loves using mortars, I welcome this suggestion. An increase in range in the trait can dramatically change how WvW is played in long term sieges.

I would like a shell type called something along the lines of gunk shot. I would like it to function like normal gunk does with imobs/cripple but with the added function that of you hit a siege build site with it that build site cannot accept supply for x amount of seconds.

The radius would have to be quite large to make it useful (as most direct shots on build sites other than trebs will be instantly destroyed).

In reference to ascended items:
Nar: I love that it will take me time and money to
reach the same level I’m at right now… …said no one, ever.

I’d rather have a decreased range trait.

Defense-wise, mortars overshoot too often. It forces players to awkwardly use mortars on the other side of the fort or even go to an adjacent tower and use its mortars.

So build an arrow cart.

I never understand why so many people want to take the variety and complexity out of the game. WvW is too narrow and simple minded the way it is without making it even more so.

I want to be able to change the angle at which the projectile will be launching.

I should be able to drop a morter shell just on the outside of the cliff just SE of the SE dumb gate morter spot. People shouldn’t be able to bunch up next to the cliff and avoid my shot and the morter shoots too far for it at the current angle.

I speak for my self and no one else. Only fools believe they speak for a majority.

Being able to change the angle of the mortar tube would be amazing. Especially when trying to shoot over the wall barriers.

Changing the angle of the mortar tube gets my vote. If you alter the hang time of the shells and reload time as well, it would allow you to launch time on target barrages of say for example three mortar shells landing in the same place at the same time.

that’d be awesome, good suggestion for a trait option.

If it can’t/won’t be implemented, would be happy with an airburst option (like Clusterbomb)
