Some people love them. Some people hate them. Some do them just to get the siege and badges and couldn’t care less. And I’m sure we all can complain about campers.

What I want to know is some of your most memorable experiences in the jump puzzles. Just thought this would be a nice change of topic people can discuss.

I’ll start off with something that happened to me today. I was in the jump puzzle and had to get past a couple of camping Yak’s Bend players and noticed an Ehmry player was having the same problem. We somehow had a mutual agreement the Yaks had to die so we teamed up on them and /bowed and /saluted each other later. But then randomly, a Yak’s player came up to us and dropped a couple siege blueprints at our feet, cheered, and left. Interesting day in the jump puzzle.

My best moments are in the JP, this one time where I pushed 3 people off the edge to their deaths made me almost scream in joy

Camping outside the entrance of the dark room near the ledge and pulling countless amounts of SBI off on the opposite ledge for a good 10-15 minutes the other week. Also harassing a group of IoJ back a few weeks ago and then getting messaged by one saying that I’m bad and that the only reason I camp in jp is because I can’t get kill in ‘normal wvw’ tehehe.

Now this is the story all about how
My life got flipped, turned upside down
And I’d like to take a minute just sit right there
I’ll tell you how I became the prince of a borderland called Eternal BG

In west Maguuma borderlands born and raised
On the jump puzzle where I spent most of my days
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool
And all shooting some EBay outside of the pool
When a couple of CD, they were up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighbourhood
I got in one little fight and my commander got scared
And said “You’re moving with your party and me into Eternal BG”

I whistled for a dolyak and when it came near the
License plate said “fresh” and had a dice in the hair
If anything I could say that this yak was rare
But I thought nah, forget it, yo homes to Eternal BG!

I pulled up to Stonemist Castle about seven or eight
And I yelled to the yakkie “Yo, homes smell you later!”
Looked at my kingdom I was finally there
To sit on my throne as the prince of Eternal BG

Having a gentleman’s agreement with one enemy server to over come the other enemy server that is camping at the top of the beast arena. Have a laugh. Grab our chest. Then call it a day as we go on our way. Vowing to best each other on the real battle field.

Then there is always the time where I come out of stealth with my guardian to knock an entire team of enemies into the beast arena below to force them into one kitten chaotic free for all with the other enemy server waiting below.

When I’m bored I sometimes log on my mesmer alt, and go to EB JP. At the water where you normally get ported up if you have a friendly mesmer on top, you can climb a small hill that looks like you can climb (I think it’s too steep cause I have never managed to actually climb it). Thing is, you can troll people on the top, tricking them into thinking you are trying to get up, so when they come close to the edge, just pull them down with your focus skill

I’m sure more than one have cried about finally managing to finish the puzzle, on their way to claim the prize, seeing an enemy mesmer failing to climb a hill..laugh at him, or even try to shoot him, just to be pulled down again in the next second I had a few laughs at that

First time in EB jumping puzzle ever on my newly geared out 80 guardian(first char) and being jumped by 3 underleveled guys camping the dark room. Sword/Torch and somehow won a 1v3… 80 exotics > lowbies apparently

I was on my mesmer one day, minding my own business when i met an enemy warrior, we both saw each other, yet decided not to attack…Until later, when i met an enemy ranger, who then knocked me off…twice.
Second time the warrior and ranger decided to jump down into the water and kill me…except I managed to kill the ranger, then destroy the warrior, unfortunately I then had problems completing the puzzle as i was distracted with how awesome i am.

Most interesting one for me would be when I was running it solo on my mesmer, one of the other servers at set up arrow carts at the arena room just after the dark room. While waiting, 3 people from the 3rd server show up. They dont fight me so I make a break through the arena and get to the end. Knock the 3 or so people on the arrow carts down and the people from the 3rd server kill them. We all run to the invisi fountain and go our separate ways.
