First off let me say that I have no hatred towards any server for any reason, so take this as more of a rhetorical and conversing opinions, rather than a hate finger pointing thread. I will start by saying that I am a part of the HoD server, and it has been very nice being in the top dog server of WvW. Who wouldn’t be proud of that? We worked for it, people can say what they want but I have never seen such organization and loyalty of guilds and just everybody working together in an MMO like I have in GW2/HoD server.

With that being said… it is quite obvious we are losing this round. Do I think it is fair what SBI and ET are doing? Sure, it is fairplay to team up and willingly have your server(ET) lose so SBI can take the win all for our server to not be the top dog anymore. My reason for posting this thread though is… why? Let’s be honest here, two servers had to organize in massive forms and team up against one server. For being in third place at the moment we are doing pretty good as well. But again… what is this hatred and reason to team up against us? Let’s look at the end-game of this battle…

Let’s say SBI wins. ….did you really? Or did you contract out ET to help your server with that victory? I mean technically by the books you will win, but by the fact that we all know as a gaming community you teamed up because you simply couldn’t do it alone… that is not really a victory, rather than a “shared victory”. So even if/when we do lose this overall battle, we will still TECHNICALLY be unbeatable even in 3rd place, as in not one server has yet to beat us by themselves.

Now ET I just feel bad for you guys. I mean look at what you’ve done. You realized you simply couldn’t take SBI let alone HoD, so you were contracted(teamed up) like sweatshop workers all for to raise the point bar of SBI. There is no victory or achievement, let alone any sense of excitement out of that. I mean sure, it was probably fun stomping on us here and there along side SBI, but you really didn’t do it… you were more of a support then anything.

I will end with this. My hope is that in future battles of servers, if you/r server has to fall back and use this ideal to team up against with a server to beat ONE other server, then at least openly admit it and accept that you aren’t really winning anything other than a easy advantage. It is 3 people getting in a ring together, all fighting for one goal, and two of the fighters jumping the other fighter until he goes down, then one of the two “jumping” fighters, accepts defeat as well so one can one.

Sbi and Hod did the same thing wtih JQ, There is no way SBI can Beat JQ without help, in previous match’s JQ beat SbI by over 100k points. Truth is SbI or Hod cant hang with JQ without help. Just look at what were doing in wvwvw right now there teaming up on us 2v1 and we are still are beating them by 100k points almost……end of story JQ owns all of you

ET teaming up with SBI? what the hell did u smoke?? isn’t it the way around? we saw you teaming up with SBI many times this week. even today.

for a non hating non finger pointing thread, there sure is a lot of finger pointing and negative stigma felt.

I can guarantee you that there was never an alliance between HOD and SBI. For being in a guild that runs with some of the highest and biggest guilds in HOD, that would go around pretty quickly if there was some kind of alliance. People on these forums from ET and SBI admittingly teamed up against HOD. We have never teamed up, we don’t need to lol.

If JQ owns all of us then why is Jade Quarry in 4th? I could understand you trying to say that if you were 2nd or 3rd, but let’s look at it this way. ET is in third, and ET is just completely terrible. Most of their big name guilds don’t even know how to organize or anything, hence they are 3rd place.

Arasuki: This wasn’t meant to be finger pointing and I apologize if it came off that way. It was more observation and opinion based on the facts of the situations and scores given that I, my guild, and many others have been participating in. Sometimes jealousy and being upset that your server has lost, can be mistaken for negative stigma, but that is on your end. I’m not trying to be aggressive or rude in anyway, I just think it is quite lame for two servers to team up and admittingly do so, just to be one server in which once again they are losing against lol.

Nunna, I’m not smoking anything. But I’d like to know what you are smoking if you think we’ve ever teamed up with SBI lol.

It’s obvious you are ET server, wanting to ban HOD players, another tactic to increase your chances of winning WvW someday? Nope, won’t work.

does HoD really win just because they do more PvDoor than sbi and et? should you claim any kind of victory because you win when there are no opponents?

we (et) knew what we were going up against, it was going to be a race to push either us or sbi so far ahead in points that it was going to be more than a day before you could recover through night capping, which we knew would happen… strategy eludes you my friend, both et and sbi knew what happens on HoD side… in fact. the entire community does, you can’t hide behind lies anymore, everyone knows how bloated the qeueus are on weekdays compared to normal servers.

Are you gonna sit there and say after this past week of HOD having little to no keeps, not alot of people on, being in 3rd place, you guys running around in 2server sized zergs, stomping us around… then we come back and STILL own both of you as we are back in first… you are really gonna use the “numbers we have” tactic for your excuses? Come on dude. Face it, SBI and ET still couldn’t beat us with everything you both had together.

What happens on HOD side that everyone knows about? You think we just sit and wait for your servers to be inactive to come in and take everything? Really? lol So you are saying we have an entire server full of players that just sit at their computer or dont play gw2 until we know you guys arent playing, then we rush in and take everything?

The whole server queues being flooded isn’t our fault either. We can’t help that because we win, people want to jump on the bandwagon and switch to HOD right away. It isn’t like anyone coming to HOD from any other server is doing much anyways. You and the entire community KNOW which guilds and who is actually making things happen for HOD so don’t sit there and make excuse after excuse as to reasons why you guys just aren’t good.

Also it’s very hard to team up with others servers. I can tell you for a fact that SBI and ET have no type of communication going on, so any type of alliance is just bogus.

You guys are the top dogs, people will come after you no matter what. If you get beat you get beat.

Yes you are right, technically a win is a win. But WW II and a game is entirely different lol. We are talking real lives being risked, and then we are talking about a bunch of kids teaming up together so they don’t look stupid once again, when they are beat by HOD. Peoples lives, and peoples egos are totally different. If they are gonna team up, at least have a valid reason… not just to try and make us look bad. My point is, if SBI or ET really had some sort of skills, and used their brains… they could probably actually present a challenge to us.

Do you know how many times, just even a group of 5 of my guild runs straight through an entire zerg of ET or SBI and laugh cause you guys down maybe 1 of us? If that? lol. Come on, there is strategy and embarrassment. I could list the things that is completely “noob” like in MMO strategy that ET and SBI both pull all the time and we see it coming from miles away lol. Yesterday my guild took 5 guys and took a keep that had over 30+ guys of ET in it, and they all dropped. 5/30 and 5 wins? lol Nothing more needs to be said there grifflyman.

My ego isn’t hurt, we are winning lol. Also, if we lost my ego wouldn’t still be hurt one bit.

You also obviously don’t read these forums enough, huge guilds from ET and SBI both admitted to working together and we seen you guys many times running together in huge zergs coming after HOD. So again, know your facts.

The fact that HoD is rolling to another easy victory kinda makes this post look rather whiney and silly. All hail the HoD overlords and all that stuff I guess.

Not whiney. Pride is all. Nothing wrong in having pride in being in a server that is able to win without the help of anyone but their own.

SBI dominated the weekend in EB without the need of any kind of alliance. We took you on from two sides. We took SM right out from under ET, and held onto it despite both forces constantly attacking us. I’m sick of reading this 2v1 bullkitten. It did not happen.

You can think what you want, if you want to erase the facts from your brain then so be it. It happened, and either way we are still winning so it was a fail idea anyways for you guys. No strategy will beat us lol.

better strategy? maybe you werent there for the weekend when HoD was last during even coverage times. and then only ONLY pulled ahead during weekday off prime numbers time.

Sorry i have to Laugh at JQ. The comment saying that CD and DB is teaming up on you lol we have done no such. Just remember the only reason JQ is even that far ahead is due to simple fact your server has players on all time where CD and DB do not. Its all the numbers game ive seens yall worth on the field only time u can ever push back is with more numbers the past weekend proved that. Now its the week and theres less active on both CD and DB. Im not complaining about the loss just dont think ur something special when its just simple numbers

what 2v1 are these HoD talking about? what makes you think ET talking to one of our guilds in our server would make the entire WvW players at that time know what is going on? Our TS3 is hard to fill up with a total of 100 players across all WvW maps. No one really listens when you type on team/map chat. So, how do you expect the message was relayed… when in fact we really dont have faster means of communication and organization like you guys do. We rickrolled you on weekends because that was our prime time, we have longer queues and people came to play. Now, you guys are bragging because you took over the 30k difference overnight rummaging everything with less resistance or more like ZERO resistance. I dont know what’s funnier? You guys having pride of winning and bragging because you guys took everything with less resistance more like ZERO resistance since we really dont have oceanic WvW focused guild/players. Or HoD guilds that played prime time with us the first two days, taking credit for their oceanic overnight capping a day ago. And all of you will say, we are QQing. When most of us saw, the score when HoD caught up most of us didnt play anymore. Why would we? We played hard for 2.5 days and all it took was 1 night with a ratio of 100 SBI to 500 HoD… oh and hey, this makes them stronger/better players. LoL? Man, anyone can come up with 5 man-team and take towers since all they have to do is tear down the gate. You guys say what you say… but we know what we know.
HoD = Titan Alliance
ET = Ascension Alliance
Stormbluff = ???? Alliance
… point is we really dont have a big Organized alliance for people to be pointing out, that our server actually teamed up with them. You guys came out ready to play with your alliances even before GW2 head start/launch. SBI didnt, most guilds here just happen to pick this server and somehow is at top rank. For us to be even at that spot, with no organization whatsoever really says something about HoD talking lolz. One guild here doesnt represent the whole server when we dont have a representing alliance at all to be telling/relaying messages and stuffs of other server concerns.

You do realize your max population server was spawn camped until SBI and ET turned their attention to one another, right?
It wasn’t some magical rally or superior strategy that allowed you to get out of spawn. It was that ET and SBI started sending people and resources to fight one another.
If there was truly an alliance between the 2 servers HoD would of been spawn camped on every map just like they were in EB.

Don’t forget guys WvW takes place from 4PM EST to 12AM EST on Fri, Sat and Sunday. There is no such thing as Monday, Tuesday, Wed, or Thursday in WvWvW let alone outside the sanctioned hours.
