So i transferred to TC.

Was roaming my first hour on non-NA time and fought 8 enemies.
That was an average of 1 every 7-8 minutes.
WHICH IS GREAT!

Previously on lower tier I could roam an hour on non-NA time and if I were lucky, I would find one person to fight, and if I were even luckier, that one person would give me a decent fight.

The sad thing was, of the 8 enemies I fought that first hour, all 8 were THIEVES.
Whats up with thieves? Is every roamer in T1 a thief?

The next 2 hours were just spent right after reset roaming.
Did not meet a single REAL decent roamer. Or at least none of those I fought pushed me hard at all.
I had many fights but the opponents all felt like zerglings. They were either trying to cap the ruins or trying to run from me.
I did not meet anyone out there who seemed like they were roaming and looking for a good 1v1 fight.

So my guess is…best to roam a few hours after reset on non-NA-peak hours, when the REAL roamers are out?

Well, on this thread you can see many people saying that roamers on T1 aren’t people interested in fights, but people doing scouting, yakslapping or even just zerglings trying to get back to their tag.

well we did tell you in your other post, what roamers do is easier done by multitaskers who are not interested in 1v1 because they are pointless time wasters to most people here, its all about speed, drop from a zerg, to do a quick camp/tower cap, back to zerg, scout etc.

T1 has big zerg fights. A lot of us actually like that. Our computers don’t lag that much, and the big fights are fun.

I like big fights. I like big zergs.

i always found zerglings weak.
individually that is.
u run into one alone 1v1 and they collapse without a fight
u run into one in a zerg 1vZ and they suddenly become very brave.

well yea zergers dont setup for 1v1’s, so they dont look for those kind of fights usually

I’ve just moved back to TC for OCX last night. I’ve always found T1 roamers are more “gankers” over “duelers”. In that way you do find the vast majority run a cheesy thief. They have so much success catching lost zerglings that they delude themselves into thinking they are something.

I’m all for dropping the blob, if any TC guilds are looking for a keen learner for efficient havoc/blob busting/GVGs during OCX then drop me a line.

We had the Ruins daily today so lots of tishy PvE players or zerglings capping ruins for the daily box.

Also, I see more mesmers and condi engis when I roam. Maybe it’s just the time.

And I rarely play NA except for reset nights, when I don’t roam cause zerg bags.

Honestly, if I am roaming, I am scouting 3-4 locations or a larger area myself. I don’t have time to 1v1, and find it a waste of time. (I have the sPvP option for setting duels.)

A lot of T1 players might also have the same view, though not all. Some T1’ers like 1v1 duels and such, though you’ll find some of them are with havoc squads on reset, and only squirrel off to 1v1 on occasion while things are going on. (Like reset nights.)
