Anet has the ability to implement global effect buffs that are applied automatically to all players who enter a zone, a game mode etc. Like Call of the Mists and Outnumbered buff.
My Idea is Have a global buff that is applied only to players who enter WvW on all servers and all Borderlands that can be used to adjust values such as direct damage taken or given, Condition Dammage Take or given. Siege Damage Taken or given.
With a Buff like this The Game mode can be balanced by tweaking the Values of the Buff so that ANET does not have to do skill splits, or fix any code in the game. Since this only effects WvW players it has no effect on PVP or PVE.
Example
Buff is Called “Mist Warrior”
It can have visual and Hidden Values.
It might say
-20% Seige Damage taken This would be like a band aid without having to adjust siege or Masterys.
Anet could also Adjust Condition Stacks this way.
The reason Conditions are OP now is becasue they Have no Cap on how many stacks can be applied now.
So the Buff could put a hard cap on how many stacks of a Condition that could be applied to players in WvW Like a Food of some type.
This should be done in a way that it doesn’t effect individuals but only effects zergs. Like a Zerg has no limit to how much stacks it can apply becasue the source is coming from so many players. So it would be similar to how ANET adjusted stab to say you can only be CCed so much in a time frame.
Lets be honest with yourself ANET is never going to balance WvW or Balance Professions becasue WVW is PVE Skills, Gear, Traits.

I fail to see the point. How wvw is imbalanced in your opinion and why do we need -20% Seige Damage taken? Conditions are op because they stack indefinitely and your solution is supposed to fix that? I don’t see how they are op, nor how your “solution” addresses and fixes it.
The biggest problem in wvw right now is the lag. If they fix it we can start thinking about further improvements, but in my opinion any changes introduced to this game mode without solving the lag issues have no sense.

Because none of my posts are directed to them. And most of time I do get the person I want to reply to my post to do it (just like now).
Because WvW isn’t Vanilla anymore. Thats why its not balanced. Siege has been power creeped since launch. Conditions have been power creeped everything now is way stronger than it was at launch becasue of ANETs PVE balance.
PVE balance has ruined WvW,
Honestly, I don’t think siege is all that powerful as you people put. Sieges are limited to the area they are placed and if placed in open field it just make it easy for you to bomb it.
The current skills in-game on the other hand tho…
Siege may be an annoyance, but it’s not truly powerful to prevent anything from happen when used in defence : either you’re facing a big blob, and it doesn’t care, or you’re facing a small group, and it has so many mobility that it just jumps off AoE.
Moreover, when you’re using a siege, you’re the perfect training dummy for ranged professions…
