that was kinda what happened only with Mesmer illusions(which happen all the time), but our arrow carts were next to the lords room door and they were being AoEd from the gate, like they could shoot through the walls at Askalion hills, then came the other siege’s turn, and before we knew it all of our siege was down and they were inside

this was at the north inner gate at Askalion hills in Northern Shiverpeaks borderlands

The one in the second shot is a necromancer. One of the buffs is a signet of the locust.

Maybe he hid in the keep somewhere? That might explain also explain the necro pets on your side of the door.

The southern most point of that tower, stand on the outside of the wall, you put an AC there and can hit pretty much anything worth hitting.

Please don’t go saying that a server is hacking, there are individuals if they are really hacking, something weird now that the gate was going down, I cant imagine a person thinking, well this gate is going down but im so impatient that i will cheat seconds before the gate gets down, however, in my guild we found a couple of people hacking with an infamous program, and you dont see me saying that HoD is cheating, I know is impossible to keep track of what your servermates do, Im not asking you anything just dont do it and I for my part will report those cheaters, is that easy to fix this, REPORT, dont go headhunting in a forum.

As an elementalist I reflected the mesmer Ether Clone skill and it created a clone of myself. I was surprised the first time I saw this.

That is a member of your guild in the screenshot. As the guild leader, you have the responsibility to turn them in. Let us know once they’ve been banned.

or at least refer as a bug when talking on foruns only anet know what really happened after analyzing the data.

Well that could be a possible explanation on how a SF Guardian came through the gate at Sunnyhill yesterday while the gate was still up. I am sure there is another explanation for it but hacking would be one. It may also explain why I could see red AOE circles near the Lord’s room at Inner Bay while the inner gate was still up and the zerg was still on the other side. Now they were full AOE circles, well outside the range of normal PoV as I used all my toons and every method possible to try and replicate what I saw to no avail. I used a Ranger, a Mesmer, an Ele, I even built ACs where SF had theirs placed and I just could not get the AoE circles to appear that far into the inner keep. There is just no logical explanation for it but again maybe there is one that I am not seeing. I do believe some of our people took screenies in both cases.

Hmm, I posted this in the locked thread, but I guess I’ll put it here again.

Not sure how, but two SF players were able to get into Sunnyhill during a siege while the gates are still up. The pictures only show one of them (the one with PVP tag in the first pic is a Mesmer clone). I forgot to SS the other one.

Could be due to lag, server issues, whatever. It’s just the first time I’ve seen someone able to get inside. It’s also my first time fighting a zerg of that size on a gate.

Also, there were necro pets going through the door earlier in the siege.

Actually, I had that happen to me once, as in I teleported through the gate. I was lagging a bit, but I was suddenly inside that same tower for no reason. I quickly left and thought wtf, but seeing this it might actually be a problem with the tower design.

Love that you know how to handle this kind of things, if it were for me I would really had a hard time, you know, cause in this particular case, 3 different guild players are involved in doing the exact kind of hack you are referring, maybe they are friends in RL, the minions of course are as guilty as the rest, that’s strong AI right there.
Of course it couldn’t be a bug, that’s impossible, it happened so many times to so many people, but not against us, I have never seen it so they must be cheating, quick, call their leader and make him cut their heads without even thinking this could be a mistake.

My solution was way more stupid you know, report them when you have them face to face(god forbid someone reports a bug they have weeks complaining), if it was a bug, Anet will look into it and fix it, if they found a hack on 3 different players(and the minions, don’t forget the minions), Anet will do something about it too, Ill assure you.
I’m not gonna take any action against my own guild if I am sure they don’t cheat, I had people whisper me in-game asking to do something about one person, I looked into it and it was a valid tactic posted in this game for ages, at that moment when I had my guild’s attention I decided to just tell my guild not to cheat in any way, we didn’t do it when we were T8 for so long, and we are not starting now.

Note: If you are the guild leader or a guild officer of your guild I would really recommend you to have a cold head and rationalize before going head hunting, it damages the credibility of your guild as a whole.

I’m all for publicly naming and shaming, unfortunately it’s against the forum rules and my attempts in the past have landed up with infractions. That being said, “Sorrows furnace is hacking”, really? Are you losing that badly that you feel you need to generalize the whole server?
