I currently run close to metabattles DPS Berserker build and had ran the Shouts Frontline before I got HoT.

I have been sitting in GS most the time for burst and bags and acknowledge I could be in hammer for better support.

My toughness is pretty high and combined with invul can often be last man standing on a wipe. My damage probably not optimum. Mostly pvt and ppt.

Our guild leader had stated at one point he wanted hammer / x/shield on wars over GS. One of our drivers pushed a build that was fairly close to metabattles DPS Berserker with minor changes.

Does anyone have a newer wvw group meta for war? I’d assume on our guild raids that my goals are Frontline support/CC / survivability of frontline. I am very good at staying stacked on commander (sometimes I’m the only one on a zerg squirreling) so maybe pushing out boons would be good? But we do run party’s split up to spread rev/guards.

Hammer primal burst is kitten. If you’re going berserker, GS is much better. Hammer/Sword+Warhorn (who the kitten runs shield on a zerg?) is good if you’re going core tho, earthshaker and Hammer 3 will tag a lot of enemies anyway if you problem is getting bags,

Hammer primal actually isn’t that bad at all. Its a chain interrupt and immobilize. check that build out. 3700 armor, health is low but not needed because you tick close to 1k healing per second due to adrenal healing. over 2,000 power, over 1,000 ferocity, around 60% crit chance with fury. The damage is insane, and its fun to play and works well with groups because you will simply generate downs all on your own.

that builds shouts will heal for 2k+, you have 2 shouts on hand and a 3rd through traits, and if you want you can swap the healing for a third shout, that heals for a total of 12k to you and 2kish to allies. And very high damage aswell

I believe the current meta build for Warrior is Revenant.
