This just made me so happy to watch!

We’ve all either been in a zerg that destroyed a loan roamer, or the loan roamer that fell victim to a zerg. So this is only fair and I’d like to see more of it. Hope it doesn’t get nerfed.

I did something similar but on a smaller scale, when the zerg was chasing about 3 of us back to our spawn. I stopped at the invuln point at the base of a rope bridge, and the zerg caught up and started wailing on us. I pushed a chunk of them into the sky with gust (staff ele) and our mesmer pulled another chunk off as well.

Much lulz were had. Nothing better than getting a bit of revenge on a zerg chasing uplevelled players.

Omg that was amazing, lol. Was like a waterfall of people going over the edge.
I once did something similar in the Borderlands, actually. There was about 8 or 9 people on a cliff, below a cliff. It’s difficult to explain but… If you’ve been in the Borderlands enough times you probably know what I mean. Anyway these people were below me fighting 3 of my server mates, obviously outnumbered and losing health quickly I decided to drop a spectral wall and reaper’s mark and they all immediately ran off the edge to their death. Was frigging hilarious. Fears near high ledges = zerg wiping material if timed right.

I’ve had this happen to me as a commander. I saw it coming. I stood still and told people to stop.

Yet the zerg kept going to their death.

I wish my class had a limitless AoE CC like this

How did he turn the spectral wall to not be perpendicular to him? Did it just do that itself due to the limited space or is it simple cheating?

You can swing it around a certain point, so there is no hacking there. Just a vulnerable zerg at a vulnerable spot.

I tried the same spot with the same skills, and its impossible for me to put this fear-wall as the guy does in his video.

That was just pure awesome. Shows how mindless some zergs are.

In their defense, spectral wall is bugged and doesn’t have a red outline when cast by an enemy. For all anyone would have known, it would have been giving them protection. But after the first few, they should have figured it out.

Just more proof that EotM map design and the increased verticality is an utter failure.

You can call me stupid, but I want real fights, not this. EotM is a pve map and all
discussions related to it should be moved to their appropriate subforum.
