I was with my zerg just now , We just capped a camp … Standing still I’m launched for no reason 100+ft in air doing somersaults and land 50mtre away from camp dead.

Someone res me and asked what happened to me…

I wish I recorded it, Anyone had this happen before?

Is it a glitch from patch or Halloween Prank ?

This happened to me a few weeks ago. It just happened all of a sudden, we were fighting near a tower, next thing I knew I was launched high up into the air, and landed far away instantly dead. I have no idea what happened or why.

I know that people being pulled toward a higher ground sometimes make you go flying and take fall damage if not dying completely in the process. Wasn’t very common before since the only “reliable” pull was Engineer’s Magnet, but now with the Dragonhunter Spears it’s a more common ocurrance these days.

However, the one the OP describe doesn’t seen to be a combat issue, so it’s likely a different problem.

Yeah that bug doesnt move you away, it just launch you straight up where you get pulled over an edge.

This was nothing like getting pulled, it was like jumping up on a launch pad or using those thermal tubes, and then you land back down in a far off random place insta dead. Heh I have seen some weird stuff in almost 4 years of wvw but kitten that one takes the cake.

Yeah I was just standing still, everyone was grabbing supplies, Then I instantly launched like a rocket very high in the sky and it looked very cool tbh, On the way down I’m spiraling out of control saying to myself woah…

As I landed all my 30k health gone, Just found it amusing and would like to work out how it happened so I can try it again haha

I had this in PvE once. I was knocked back, and I just kept flying, sliding over the mountains, piercing through walls if it was to steep to glide up, and I just kept flying back until I fell off the map, hit a loading screen, and was suddenly on a different map.

Sounds like the new meta kicking in high gear. Invis deployable launch pads, able to be -placed at range under characters.
