So this is another thread about the undesired new borderlands, but instead of just whinning I present an idea.

Totally remove new borderlands. Take Eternal Battlegrounds map and remove all towers and Stone Mist Castle. Borderland maps are supposed to have a central keep and 2 or less towers destined for each side. Abandon that idea, keep the main keeps and add 2 towers on each side. The 2 towers could be on any position of the previous 4 or in a totally new location between each 2 towers of each side.
In place of stonemist add a relatively open area for massive scale fights.

With this model you remove the concept of each server having a home borderland, which ofcourse can come in handy in my next statement. Aside EBG the number of the new mini EBG/Borderland maps will depend on the tier/population of a server(instead of the classic 3).
For example, on the first 3-4-5.. tiers or gold league there will be 3 mini EBG/borderland maps. As many borderlands as there are now. On silver tier there can be 2 mini EBG/borderland maps.
The above is just an example to give an idea. The sides of mini EBG/Borderland maps can change and easily be adjusted according to population and tier of a server.

You will provide a simpler borderland meant for fights (better lag fights than no fights), low tier servers can increase their competitiveness having less coverage with less manpower, flexible system. (I do not mention any other proposed changes as the rewarding system, not the point of this thread).

EDIT. Make it as a theme. EBG on the past :O, after all its mists wars.
