Guild Wars 2

Hello all, I’m a new player. After playing in the WvWvW for a few hours, I’m totally hooked. However, on my current server, we have a pretty imbalanced fight. Our color is red, and the majority of the map is dominated by green (including a good deal of our own continent). So I thought I would take advantage of the free transfer to head for greener pastures. If it doesn’t pan out, I can always go back in a week, right?

Here is what I am hoping for in a new server:
1) NA based
2) One that is in a balanced WvWvW matchup
3) Ideally that has few guilds actively involved in WvWvW, but willing to take on new players
4) No queue times. I hate Queues.
5) It doesn’t have to be a top-tier server, or even anything near it. I just want a nice balanced fight.

Ok, now that you know what I’m looking for, what are your suggestions? If you could address each of the requests I made in your posts, that would be extra awesome!

Being on Anvil Rock we are currently in a heated battle between us Gates of Madness and Borlis Pass.
We are a fairly low tier server set, but I will go through and answer your questions:
1. We are NA based
2. We have been fighting against BP and GoM for about a month now and the way the scores look it’s going to be a similar match up for a while u less other servers lose badly or we do.
3. I can’t speak for the other two servers but we had a lot of good guilds that left when the going got tough. That said the remaining groups are seemingly here to stay and would love new members.
4. I play at all ours of the day and night (sometimes im up till 5am, and i have participated in WvWvW resets) and have never once had to queue for WvWvW. As a player since 2 weeks after release I’d say that’s either extremely lucky or there are not enough people to pack out wvwvw
5. Similar to question 2, if you would like a balanced fights one of our servers would be great for you.

I’ll throw in a shameless plug for Tarnished Coast.

1) It is North American based.

2) We are in the best matchup in months this week. Yak’s Bend and Fort Aspenwood, and these are both teams we have played relatively recently. First and third place are about 10,000 points apart, so it’s still anyone’s game.

3) I see a lot of different guilds in WvW. I’m not sure why you’d prefer a realm with few guilds actively involved? If you’re looking for a guild though, I don’t that will be a problem on any realm.

4) The only time I recall waiting in a significant queue (IE more than a minute or two) is generally nights when the maps reset. I think on one reset night I waited about ~20 minutes. Generally though I get insta-queues.

5) Personally, looking at this weeks rankings, we are in the perfect tier. 4 out of the 6 above us have completely smashed us in the past with pretty one sided results. Being in Tier 2 means you’re going to face one of those four every week. I’d prefer to be in tier 3 where there are a couple realms above and below us. Makes the week a lot more fun, which is what we’re all playing for.
