Not really a huge fan of the changes to the lake region in the three core BL maps…. first now the lake area is really cluttered…. secondly the playstyle being introduced is that of PVP which just seems to contrast the playstyle of the rest of the map.

Why not simply introduce a 5th map with these alternate playstyles if it is something you really want to introduce rather than such a large change to the flow of the older BL maps?

a 5th map would actually be detrimental to low pop servers, which actually struggle to defend their own BL plus EB.

what would it happen if they had to defend another map?

Well thats true… but then again you are completely out of luck in either case since you will have five new waypoints to defend on each of the three normal BL maps… so either way sounds like this is not going to be a Happy change for you and your server.

Oh how naive you are friend. Roamers wont have a chance at any of this! You have no idea how long it takes to cap a single point and while doing that it is quite easy for an entire mass zerg to run over, curb stomp you, then take the point – then go back to doing what they were doing…

Maps are too small and zerging = profit.

Sorry… I practically live in WVW…. this will have the opposite result in my opinion….. the lake area is a place where the smart players or small groups use as cover to sneak north, south, east, or west……but with these new changes there is a much less of a chance to do that… people will stand and scout from above reporting evey move you make… have fun getting jumped soon afterwards by the enemy zerg.

kill the scout, then its harder for them to call a zerg down on top of you :P

the underwater area did very little to add to the wvw battles, sure you got the occasional underwater battle but 99% of fights occurred on land, even when it was beside the water

yeah i agree the maps are too small which does make zerging the easy option but until we can see how we can use the new maps to slow down zergs and break them up abit im reserving my judgment

shouldn’t you be happy if the enemy zerg is only capping these points…?
I mean capturing these Points and keeping the control of them is very difficult and if a hole Zerg is doing that your Server can easily attack major objecitves.
