Anet, in future please dont rush changes in and mess it up. You dont exactly have a good record on this stuff.

I find it funny that the new system proponents boast that at best, nothing will change and at worst, we will get one bad matchup every 2 weeks. How is this better exactly?

I think the truth is that this is simply a matter of appeasement for people in lower tiers who really don’t understand the system and assume a 100k lead in tier 6 means they are ready to take on SoR.

Noone is saying the current system isn’t flawed, but replacing it with another flawed system is a waste of energy and time.

Well basically everyone is playing against everyone right now.
And everything is bugged and lags like hell and people are not even trying anything. They just farm each other as much as possible for wvwxp/lootbags without going for objectives since there will be a few more resets in the next few hours.

t1 update fighting are Vizu, Jade and Elona guess thats not working^^ also there are players from other servers on our map and the guild tags indicate different servers alltogehter. I’ll kepp watching it’s quite entertaining^^

according to ts and guild chat there are still miss assignments of players to maps …

Not quite sure how you could, with 100% certainty, determine the predicted match chosen by a semi-random algorithm that was just introduced, but ok.

go … one reset per hour … well something like that, times between are also random

theres a new attachmaent in the first rest post, t1 eu would be vizu, jade, elona which is technically running right now…with glitches…we can attack our own.. walk through wrong portals…stuff like that..i’m sure its not important or anything…

But it IS NOT working! Wishful thinking won’t help with the problems.

I don’t see any problem?? If you are RED, it’s because you are supposed to be RED with this new matchup!

I don’t see any problem?? If you are RED, it’s because you are supposed to be RED with this new matchup!

RED team is supposed to be the lowest ranked server of the matchup.

They have a slight defensive advantage on EB.

T1 matchup is still unchanged, except for wrong colors on ER and JS.

Thank you for your effort. Anyone who does not appreciate that has only themselves to blame! Personally, I would have had nothing against a German matchup… Well at least we had a hour or so :-)

ahhhh, ninja edit! ok, so the old matchups are the new matchups (mostly). A few server managed to change colours and a few even managed to change the matchups (mid-tier servers). So, not so much random , but he it’s a start.

the colors for the t1 matchup are right, whats wrong is some players got ported to the wrong server, not sure how thats working correctly, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Well same for Vizu-Jade-Elona, don’t forget the old matches are still the most likely ones, it’s just that they are far from being guaranteed.

Gunner’s Hold is up 50 rating atm despite having a low relative score. Keep up the fight guys throughout the week and you’ll have a nice fat rating gain to show for it.

And I’ve seen a lot of facepalm-inducing changes in a lot of MMOs.

I was sceptical when the system was announced but now I’ve seen it I’m stunned this made it past the “Hey guys I got an idea…” stage.
