Hello everybody:

I am the Guild Leader of the SOR Nine Dragon Guild [N.D] “Fate Yaiba”.

Although there’re not many people in guild but we often hit the battlefield, I believe that everyone should have known us for a while.

We have been strived for honor with SOR from T5 to T2 now.

As the SOR GMT+8 few Asian Guild, we must tell everybody, we really fought very tired.

([CRS] Guild currently because the Guild Leader has not playing relationship, [CRS] Guild the members are to act together and we [N.D].)

After all, the SOR has been such a long time, but in GMT+8 hours zone, we wait and do not see the other large guilds appear.

We feel depressed, especially when the NA part from SOR have always being strong; however, there’re only the main court of SOR were doing fine, not even mention other courts.

[N.D.] has put our efforts to the period of GMT+8 from SOR, we went to battlefields almost every day; plus the time and money.

Noticing there aren’t so many rewards you can obtain after being so hard working, people feel depressed.

So we[N.D] decided go to BG, Thus challenge the T1.

As I said, I wish that we can help SOR leap to T1, but unfortunately it seems not very promising at the moment.

I’m really sorry, SOR friends, we can only accompany you to T2.

Although we will become opponents in the future, but we will never forget the time we had spent together.

Thanks to everyone, especially OWL! You are an excellent commander. I appreciate your help, we could lose our SOR main courts without you (sigh).

You’re a great commander and your guild has a lot of talented players within their ranks. Being one of the SoR regulars that puts in 6+ hours a day I understand your plight. I hold no hard feelings toward your departure and I would hope that others wouldn’t as well but we’ll see in time.

You gotta do what feels right.
Congrats to BG for pulling Nine Dragon.

As much as I respect the members of Nine Dragon, I don’t think tranferring to the opposing server in the middle of the week is the right thing to do, just my opinion.

C’mon now. Treason? They gave their reasons in the OP. There’s no one online during their play time. They waited to see if more guilds would join in their slot, but it never panned out. This is a game after all.

Not that I expect any problems in this regard, but if BG does not treat you right, don’t be shy about coming back home.

If you guys can hardly handle T2 a couple medium sized guilds won’t make much of a difference in T1. Good luck though. We need some new matchups anway.

Wow lots of mad in this thread. While I understand the disappointment, the fact is, none of us have the right to judge what a guild does, or the decisions they make in hopes of improving the experience of its players. If I raged over every guild that left Blackgate in the past my head would have already exploded. Wish them well if you care to comment, and hope you get to kill them on the battlefield.

ND wasn’t that good anyway. I’ve played the off-peak. The people doing work are the 10-15 NA people that stay up late -.-

Forcing playrers to stay in a poor situation is not the answer. People would be more apt to just quit or play PvE.

And yet I was ridiculed for leaving HoD for a better server. Your entire guild is praised for leaving for a better server. I don’t understand this community.

I loved fighting you guys late at night and look forward to doing so again.

Two different groups of people.

While ANet has done an exceptional job of removing the borders between casual and hardcore, it still has yet to address the gap between those playing to win and those playing to have fun.

I make the assumption that the players playing for pursuit of fun would much prefer to go back to 1 day transfers as a server that is fun to play on during the weekend may not be the same during the week (Sanctum of Rall being a great example).

Meanwhile the winning group seems to want to lock people to 1 server permanently, only allow 80s into WvW, and remove all puzzles/mining nodes from the map.

There seems to be no happy medium.

Well actually you are wrong. Everyone has the right to come to their own conclusions and make their own judgments.

Personally, I never understood bandwagoners as I have always preferred the challenge of fighting against the odds. I totally get that other people aren’t like that and prefer everything to be easy for them. To each their own, but telling people they have no right to their opinion is silly.

My opinion on the matter is this:

Who cares? Judging by the PPT we were losing during that time slot anyways, their impact was negligible on the weekly outcome. I am curious how they will handle T1 if they ever get there with BG if they couldn’t handle adversity in T2. Should be interesting to see.

They are having a great time playing with our other Asian Guilds and Blackgate has welcomed them with open arms If we didn’t get another Asian presence then TC may be ahead during those times. If it isn’t one server, then it’s the other. We are very glad to have ND come to Blackgate and we hope everyone will respect their decision!

The grass is always greener.
I hope ND find the end of their rainbow, will they be chasing the dragon? Only time will tell.
