You can already predict which servers will win the gold, silver and bronze dolyaks. For example Viznuh in Europe will come 1st and all Viz will get the golden dolyak.
Because of this loads of players are going to transfer to Viz and there equivalent in North America to make sure they get maxium rewards.
No updates of any kind for 7 weeks or so is going to be very unpopular. It will encourage anyone not interested in this league to go do something else for 7 weeks, knowing they will miss nothing new.
Hey I guess it’s an excuse to not change anything for 7 weeks, not that they really needed one.
This means we’ll be stuck with v1.0 of Bloodlust for the whole duration though. I would rather that they be willing to change/update things mid-season even if it’s not “fair”
Wow, really trying their hardest to ruin this game aren’t they. You would think they would actually spend some time TALKING to the players they would instantly find out that we dont want this!

Assuming the map changes that are in works don’t get in before October 4 (which is highly likely) then we probably won’t see map change till end of Season in November 21st? Whose bright idea is this? WvW which is already just getting superficial updates like masteries will not receive any updates for 2months.
Also Each server will fight every server in their league…. US has 2 leagues. League 1 will have so many crap matches for 7 weeks because the top 5 servers are so stacked that bottom 7 won’t win… guaranteed. It will be even worse if top 3 servers get spread to 3 different matches making that week boring as hell. Please rethink the 2 leauges and instead do 4 leagues in NA so top 5/6 servers perma matched in league1. The servers populations are pretty symmetric when you divide NA in 4 leagues instead of 2. 2 leagues we will result in very crappy matches.
NA ranked 7-12 and 19-24 say goodbye to all your WvW friends because 1/2 of them will be gone in a month.
exactly… you think a server like DB(4) is bored going against SoS (8), imagine BG,SoR,JQ with anyone outside of T1 matched up against T2or below in league 1. I wonder who will win….
Being on a Very High Server with Large PvE population and low WvW population we are dependent on militia turnout. No one wants to play when you have opponents outnumber you 3to1 constantly on all borderlands.

All this league system will surmount to will be which NA T1 can win the NA T1 match. Because that’s the only matchup where JQ BG and SoR stand to lose. All other matches they take part in will be a complete white wash.
