I read in this thread here on reddit there’d be “no lockout” for wvw transfers. Can somebody explain what this means?

I’ve wanted to transfer servers for months – does this mean I don’t has to pay or does it mean players can move between wvw servers anytime they want during a tournament?

In season 2, when a person transferred during season, they were locked out of wvw proper for the rest of the week that they transferred in and the following week, they could only go to edge. This lockout is what wont be present.
All other elements of transfers will be the same as they are out of season

Ok thank you! Don’t suppose anybody knows of any inkling of reduced/revised server transfer fees coming up before the tournie? £20/250g ish is a lot to have to pay to play wvw with friends.
