No more spawn trebs!
A ridiculous change that shifts even more advantage to the highest population server in a matchup.
Here’s hoping we draw a T2 matchup next week. I’ll make plans to occupy an enemy garrison and inflict maximum misery on a smaller server’s players.
Good riddance to them. Never built one, never fired one, never even tapped one. Have logged out and played something else when my team was exploiting them though.
May you lose your garrison to an overstacked server on Saturday and never retake it.
If that’s the price of playing by the rules I’m fine with that.
Some of us are also glad they are gone. And don’t happen to play on bg.

Though annoying, this didn’t bother me that much being as it was only towers being hit .. until trebs started hitting garrison from within the citadel. Or was I seeing that wrong?

It could hit basically everywhere near the north towers and the paths leading to and including the outer garrison walls.
I dont know about other servers but on t1, this was basically an automatic response by some servers to use spawn trebs to hit towers and garrison regardless of how many people were on the map. Those crying that this was used by outnumbered are being disingenuous because it was abused even more by full map blobs even during reset nights. It just became an automatic response and good riddance to it.

Exploits “favoring the outmanned side” are still exploits. Its stupid not to fix them.
If we were that concerned about helping the losing side, how about we make all objectives invulnerable and remove all non-PPT scoring? That way, each server will always hold their starting keeps & towers and it’ll be a 3 way tie for first every week! Problem solved, yes?

People defending this also seem to forget it can be abused by ANYONE, this kind of garbage ruins gameplay plain and simple and needs to be fixed as quick as possible.

While this should have been fixed long ago, I am still not sure why people get so irritated with them. I never had any issue taking down a spawn treb any more so than any piece of open field siege. It isn’t like there were legendary defenders to kill you near where they were placed, nor were the trebs invulnerable so you could just go over there and take them out or bali them the lazy way…
To me was no different to take out than any other placement for open field siege. Just go over there and kill it.

They are.. or you can just go over there and kill them like any other open field siege. It wasn’t hard to do unless of course they are just one of those nublets that run around on the walls in circles screaming about being attacking instead of doing something about it.

The issue is not whether they can be countered, they were not supposed to be able to built in spawn/invuln areas. If you understand how they were placed, you will know how people found the exploit spots to place and build the siege to get around the siege deployment blocked effect, because you couldnt just throw it down anywhere, you had to find specific areas. This is why whenever people reported it here and posted pictures there would be a specific pattern on where they were placed.

There’s some emplacements you can’t hit. Furthermore just because you can attack them doesn’t mean it’s right

You must clearly be one of those band wagon transfer refugees. It has been in the game since launch so it clearly is not or was not considered an exploit. I have played since beta through the good, bad and ugly and have always remained loyal to my server and the people I play the game with.

Yea man because I want exploits fixed so people cant abuse them, I must be a bandwagoner. If you knew where to place those trebs, then you know exactly why its an exploit, because of how you were getting around the ‘siege deployment blocked’ effect.
