I know I have heard ANet say that they would be giving us warnings well before booting us from WvW so that we could plan for the eventuality. But there we were yesterday, about to take out seige that had been hitting our keep walls when we get the message “Preparing for a new build of WvW, you are being redirected to Lion’s Arch” (something to that effect).

So what gives? Apparently the folks at ANet just don’t have the patience to give us more than a 30s warning.

Didn’t they say that was one of the things to be included in big the January/February update?

They usually always warn the players when a new build is up… It seemed to be something that needed to be fixed quickly.

They never warn. EU already has to wait untill 1:30AM for the reset for example and there was a month where they made a new build one hour into the reset almost every kitten week. Sometimes its like they don’t realise the NA timezone isn’t the world’s timezone.

They said they would start to warn us unless it was an emergency fix. However it seems that they have forgotten they said they would do that…
