We really, really need more servers dedicated to languages. The server I’m currently on seems to have a large number of Polish/Czech players active in WvW, whom don’t speak English at all – Yet they don’t have a server dedicated to their language/country.

It’s becoming increasingly annoying to try and communicate with people during WvW while hardly anyone speaks proper English. And not only that.. What about the French-speaking Canadians who decide to hook up with European servers because they have servers with their native tongue?

I dunno. Maybe I’m just annoyed at the moment, or perhaps I’m actually making sense. You tell me.

PS: Does anyone know of any European servers with mainly English speaking people on it? Would love to get a transfer to there.

There are UK/FR/DE servers in europe. You might try to transfer to a UK server for all your english speaking needs

OP would be on a server designated as English, but probably a place where Polish and Czech players/guilds have decided to congregate. It’s possible there would be enough players speaking another language to make it difficult to coordinate, but not enough to form another server. I very much doubt there would be enough players with limited English in Quebec to make up a whole Francophone server.

Anyways, I’ve never had issues with my EU server (Gandara). Which one are you on?

As far as i’ve heard, most servers are mainly English with some having some small amount of other languages in public, even Blacktide.

I’m currently located on Underworld. I hardly ever see English recruitment messages whilst in WvW or even outside of it. I do see the occasional person who speaks English, but whenever I’m online (Mornings and Evenings) it’s mostly just people I can’t communicate with.

As a mesmer who likes to infiltrate and use my portal to call in a quick cap, it’s pretty much impossible to employ my favourite strategy as the people don’t even know the English skill names – Let alone know how to use them =/
