Once again Northern Shiverpeaks is up against Anvil Rock and this time Borlis Pass.

With Guild help, this hacker has taken the orb twice. The second time he took it from us in Borlis Pass borderlands, and he dropped it in the air to let it reset up north in an attempt to put the blame on Borlis Pass.

But of course, an NSP guild and people on their server hit the Borlis Pass orb with a highly coordinated attack to take it once it reset up north.

There are obviously guilds and or people working together with the hacker or hackers to take orbs and score a win for their server.

Screenshots were taken and reports were submitted to ArenaNet, we can only hope they find and ban all involved permanently.

there are 2 different servers with shiverpeak name. This is Northern Shiverpeak. BTW, we dont need 2 thread about 1 incident. Storm, please check other thread 1st.

I know that you read the forums and police them constantly. Players on NSP did this to us (anvilrock) last week. Now you are letting them do it again? Can we get some sort of post as too what is happening to resolve this issue? I love WvW but will not play a game that isn’t fair, and tonight sure wasn’t.

We watched u take the orb and run it all the way down the east side of the map, not once, but twice! Then proceeded to run around all over inside EH till the timer ran out. We wanted the orb in EH, it was hell trying to go for it up at Godsword.

And we never had the orb…so your crying on the forums that we hacked, but we had nothing to do with the orb you had not once, but TWICE!!

Windmoor, your server hacked the orb from us last week and hacked it twice tonight, once on Anvil Rock and once on Borlis Pass. You must not be keeping up with current events. We ran it down twice because ANV is a superior guild and we destroyed all the opposition twice. The second time we had no altar to place it on though.

As i stated, the folks on BP BL wanted it in EH, u saw for yourself what it was like up at Godsword.

Anyway, I was sadden to see us matched up with u again, I’ll leave you to what ever fantisies you wanna come up with to justify your position. I just wish you the best of luck in the future match ups.

we got it to EH, then within 10 minutes it had been fly hacked off the altar and placed in the air…check the other thread for screenshots.

sigh, that someone hack the orb is no longer a question. You can say whatever you want, but so many complaint about NS. No smoke Without fire.

I was online for this one. The orb was north, and we pretty much ran up and zerged it legitimately. Ignored the keep, just ran in took the orb and bailed.

Anything that happened before that I wasn’t there for, but sounds like a bunch of excuses. It was taken from the north legitimately, so now that scenario was “set up” with hacks? Give me a break.

Celeras explain yourself better please. What server are you from? Did you read the thread?

Set up? no we make orbs fly to your keep.

SoS loves to world vs world, infact we had high hopes for the reset yesterday, we gathered and intended to give some good fights. Among the alliance guilds, we were designated to be part of the Anvil Rock Borderlands, and once the battle started we lost ground from both sides rather quickly. I sent my guild up north to protect the one thing I knew either side would go for, and we had plenty there to defend. Borlis pass was making a run for the orb, and we managed to stop them. One of my guildies on vent took the orb from the borlis pass invader and we intentionaly dropped it so we can reset the orb. The moment my member dropped it and we had several people there, the orb disappeared like usual, and we waited for the counter, no one around, not a single shiverpeak player. I had my world map open, and no orb emblem was in sight, or movement of an orb. A few mins after, somehow, someway, the orb was in shiverpeak hills keep alter. How I have no idea, it is almost as if it reset automatically on their alter. After yesterday, even I am starting to believe these posts about shiverpeak. I am quite disappointed in the play style and how this is ruining the game not just for us, but for the legit guilds in shiverpeak. I have no intentions on taking my people back into the battlegrounds this week, we may be able to hold against numbers, may be able to fight players, but cheats.., you win hands down. Infact i suggest everyone on anvil rock to boycott this weeks match, if the enemy owns everything then there’s nothing else for them to control, there’s nothing else for them to gain. I am really disappointed, we love fighting u guys, you give my guild a challenge, but we can’t fight cheats.

ANV has decided to play EB this week, since working for 6+ hours for a perfectly timed orb steal only to have it hacked away after 10 minutes when the enemy interception failed in the borderlands makes those zones seemingly pointless in this matchup vs a few unscrupulous players. I hope to see FINE and TBH out there fighting the good fight, and any others who wish to join.

I was in Boralis map with my guild war up till Friday 12 am, and never saw this? I know our guild would not condone hacking and the fighting there was too fun, especially the attempts to get the orb up north.
If there is an individual from our server hacking I hope they are banned, because this match up has been too much fun. I’ll keep an eye out and see if there’s any evidence on our end and hopefully this won’t keep our enemies from continuing to battle.

It pretty much killed everyones morale the second time we got hacked. Thats why Anvil Rock is doing badly, no one cares anymore we are just playing to have fun and not to win.

I really hope ArenaNet finds the solution to this quickly.

I just want to say don’t accuse us of hacks for you not understanding what happened. The orb event in AR borderlands was all due to a 5 man strike team in [TBH]. While your zergs were fighting we had 2 men from that team stealth up, grab the orb and port back to the east. Half our force then came from Hills to escort them the rest of the way. Its not our fault your zergs were to busy not paying attention to the important piece of your map.
Now I’ve seen the Screen of the flying orb from garrison, and it saddens me to see that. It wasn’t on the Borderlands that [TBH] was in or it would have been reported immediately.
But please, please, don’t throw everything into hacks, because that feat of ninjaing the orb from the group was something my guild takes a ton of pride in. It’s credit goes to Kilthemall, a co-leader and head of our SPvP department, and one of the best mesmers I’ve ever seen.
I don’t want to turn this into a thread where we fight each other, but I had to defend that event, because I was there and know exactly what happened. I just hope you can appreciate it.
Anyway, AR keep up the good fight. It’s nice to have stuff to do in WvW. You def don’t just roll over and I can appreciate that.

Also a side note, I would never ever just leave my orb on the ground. You’re asking for someone to take it even if you are standing there as you can’t detect stealth. Instead of resetting it up north, take it to garrison. As a defender I’d rather have my orb in my keep then up north. When someone from an invading team picks it up and you kill them, they’re doing you a favor by letting you put it in one of your keeps. Use it to your advantage.

Interesting, thanks for sharing what you think happened, I was on the opposing server when GoM hacked the orbs, It’s disappointing to see such a thing :/
