We need this npc re-enabled like, right now please.

I’m pretty much done with the game, until they do this.

I would continue working on my Reaper, but I don’t trust Anet enough to know that the items are going to be worth anything when they… maybe… enable it.

I just needed one more skill to get my Reaper to mostly the build I want (minus the last two shouts), so I could finally get into the PvE story like I intended. I was going to idly level my Revenant, and get a bit ahead in HP too… But apparently my day (week? month? year? is now free, thanks Anent).

Can we at least get more information, and a ETA, so I can stop being cynical?

15 hours and not even a comment from devs… I can understand if the issue is more complicated than we think… but not tellings us anything is lack of respect.

The vendor wasn’t turned on with the patch.

I srsly cannot believe that nobody from Anet feels the need to inform us. Had elite Specs been disabled in PvE, they’d be all on to it. Right now as a WvW player I feel very disapointed at the least.

This is really infuriating. I had already converted a bunch of Proofs into Notarized Mag Heroics to use after I had completed the easier, non-gated Maguuma HPs, but I can’t even click on them because they’re disabled, too! You’ve bizarrely made these items soulbound so it makes no sense for me to continue trying to collect HPs the PvE way on my revenant when the WvW items I’ve already converted will go to waste. This is such a fun situation to be in.

This better not be a Hall of Monuments 2.0 situation where kitten is disabled for months. This needs to be a priority fix and, more importantly, a little communication goes a long kitten way.

If what RlyOsim said is true – people are using WvW tournament tickets to buy Wexp consumables, then I don’t think it’s an exploit either. I’m not sure how they’re now buying Wexp consumables, but if they are, so be it. They should be able to spend their currency.

But, regardless…

Anet, I implore you to sort this out in short order (as in “days” not weeks or months).

If this turns into the kind of Hall of Monuments BS that was — “oh we’re working on a fix…” and then 3 months later… “it’s almost ready, guys!” Then a month after that… “Oh we finally got it now!” Then you’re going to lose me and I’d guess a lot of other folks. People already DON’T want to GRIND for the elite specs. You take away one of the means by which we can “cash-in” to acquire our elite specs (especially for the WvW community) for an extended period of time, and it’s not going to bode well, I’m afraid. (Just my honest opinion here.)

There’s no grinding in EotM needed to gain WvW ranks.

If you were not aware… you can gain WvW ranks (levels) by simply playing regular WvW. You get a rank per every 5000K WXP earned from doing things like killing other players, taking camps, towers, and keeps, killing and escorting yaks, defending, etc. I typically gain a few ranks (at a minimum) every day that I log in and battle on the BL’s and EBG.

It’ll only take you 250 hero pts now, but at an average 3 proofs per rank it will take you a good 84 WvW ranks

Any idea when this will be turned on? Been waiting for awhile to turn in these proofs.

been almost a full day now, those of us who are wvw players are basically locked in our elite progress, fun…..maybe if we’re lucky theyll fix it by January, til then , we have to play gw2 “the right way” and pve if we want any progress in our elite paths…

Why would you say folks are crying? There’s a difference in crying and wondering why in the hell there isn’t a bit more communication about a hot topic.

I’m more than patient, but relaying information is important, in my opinion, and people would be more understanding if they would let folks know an ETA, if there is one, or at least acknowledging that they are still working on it.

read the other posts then. Asking for ETA is ok crying about how they want the hero point and the elite skills and then continue whining on other things related to it is crying to me

I agree, using tickets you’ve saved up from gameplay is not an exploit and does not need to be addressed.

I wonder if the exploit has to do with saving rank up chests and opening them on a different toon?

This is what I’ve heard, and I hope its not the case, its far to restrictive to make the chests soulbound. And really what would be the point? Who does it hurt?

And to anet when will this be turned back on? I have legitimate scrolls to turn in.

I BOUGHT the expansion to play the elite builds in WVW… not in PVE.
I want what I PAID for: the possibility to play what was advertised.
So enough of the silent treatment. Anet is just not delivering what we bought.

2-3 patches today and still nothing from FailNet, WvW dying infront of them but I think its what they want to psuh there sPvP into ppls hand yet they just push WvW-players over to CU-Aplha

Thanks reopening transaction with the Heroics Notary.

I was able to complete my Elite specialization just in time.

So are the chests still account bound or have they been changed to soul bound?

Hopefully to account bound, otherwise it’s a royal pain in the kitten having to play an occassional toon full time to get the required HP so it has the required build when it is needed, rather than being able to progress through playing the major toon(s).

Tried to spend some proof of heroics at the vendor in EBG last evening but the tab where the scrolls should be was empty – message saying nothing to show here at the moment? Is this still disabled or am I doing something wrong. I don’t have the HoT expansion yet – is that the issue?

You are looking at the wrong vendor. You want the Heroics Notary. I don’t know if/where there is one in EBG, I have always bought them at the starting camp in the home borderland. From the waypoint if you go south to the first structure with all the vendors, he is on the left (east) side.
